This is a great post. The best way I can explain my loss is to share this excerpt from my profile. It started out as my signature, but as you can see, eventually got too long, so here goes:
"Started April 13, 2009
12 lbs. Gone in first month
6/6/9..18 lbs. lost = one "Pepper" (my Shih tzu)
DOWN 25 lbs. by 4th of July/Actual 23 lbs. gone
8/2/9..28 lbs. lost = one "Mai Li" (my Lhasa)
8/8/9..Down the BIG THREE OH!!!(30 lbs. gone)
9/13/9..37 lbs lost = TWO "Peppers"
10/12/9..Down the BIG FOUR OH!!(40 lbs. gone)
11/2/9 Down 43 lbs. = One "Mai Li"* & One "Pepper"(*Mai Li lost 3 lbs.)
11/10/9 -Entered land of ONE-derful Ones!!
12/8..Down the BIG FIVE OH!! (Two "Peppers" & 1 "Bradley"(Yorkie)
DOWN 60 lbs. by Christmas Day!! Held at 50 lbs instead
7/29/10..Down 60 lbs.= 1 ea, Mai Li, Pepper, and Bradley!!"
My eventual goal is to lose TWO Each, of Mai Li, Pepper, and Bradley = 120 lbs. and maybe a Chihuahua, for a total of 125 lbs.
Something tells me I may have to be satisfied with one two month old horse and an average house cat --111 lbs.0 -
I just looked, and my goal to lose is a fashion model   :bigsmile:0
-
I've lost 10 dozen large eggs but I still need to lose a 2 year old (although my child has weighed 33lbs since he was 18 months old and he still isn't 2 till October)0
-

I have lost the tire so far with at least another tire to go0
-
I have one to add to the list...I've almost lost my 9 year old son! (56 pounds so far - he weighs 63 pounds)0
-
"8 pounds = a human head"
Well, that explains why I feel like I've lost my mind!
Very cute!
I have been looking for something like this. I love to have something visual!! I have lost a bald eagle!!! YAY!0 -
Let's see... I lost an Elephants penis about 8 years ago (it was possibly an Irish Setter, but can't remember exactly!), gained back a Bald Eagle, lost a head, gained a head, lost my head again (all sometime in the last 5 years), gained a 2 year old about 2 years ago and proceeded to have lost the cat in the last 9 months... Now if I can only lose my head (yet again) I'll be fine0
-
I've lost a newborn calf, but one of my friends told me I've lost an Olympic gymnast and I think that sounds bigger (even though they're pretty tiny). I'm hoping for a small fashion model. Thanks for posting this great list! :laugh:0
-
I've lost 1 Chihuahua and would love to lose another 1. This is really a great string. Thanks.0
