    Don't care about it!

Her charisma and constant "nagging" made me WORK HARD to tone up, lose weight in a healthy way and I THANK HER for it!

her workouts are effective and efficient

she pushes you through the sweat and pain - and that's what I chose - to workout at home, in privacy of my own room, but with 200% of my efforts with a little voice over my shoulder to push me a bit further and not to clap at everything I try to do but fail.

And that's Jillian Michaels I thank!

Wow, what a bunch of haters. Anyone can have her body if they work hard enough. She's not a bodybuilder. She's fit and lean and I think she's plenty feminine.

And HELLO, she doesn't do the complete workout with you because she has to be able to talk to tell you how to do or modify the moves. This is why she's got people next to her doing the complete workout. I'm sure she can kick anyone's *kitten* anyday of the week.

I totally agree with you.....what people do with their life is not necessarily what I will do with mine, her DVD's have put me in great shape and that's all that matters..
Regardless of if she's fake or not, she's still good at getting people active again, and some of her workout DVDs have put me in the best shape I've ever been in. I don't care if she's had drug problems in the past or whatever, no-one is perfect.

This "came out" in 2011 and what has been done about it? Nothing? Doesn't seem very plausible then. Oh well. Jillian's a ***** but a motivator.

Amen! The 30DS got me up and off of my *kitten* and helped me to lose a ton of inches. I'm doing RI30 and plan on doing Body Revolution next. Whatever she does or has done is none of my business. I want results and I know I'm going to get them with her screaming at me from a DVD.

No doubt by looking at her and listening to her voice that she has used steroids. The guy wasn't dissing her as a lesbian (I think) but as a fraud, for example her talking about men when this guy knew she wasn't into men. I will still watch biggest loser though. I actually believed the guy. I do remember her brother saying a long time ago that she was never "fat". I think she would still have credibility if she was just sincere and talked about the truth rather than try to enhance her image.

Also as for her 'yelling at people' what would you have her do....give them a cuddle instead?

    I like this ^^^

I don't have a strong opinion of Jillian either way, she seems ok to me and I don't take diet/supplement advice from any celebrity, but I like her videos and I like her yelling on Biggest Loser, it's what a lot of them need. As for Rob Margolin, do a little reading on him, he's a freakin nut.

He says he's coming out now bc of the dangerousness of her Hydroxycut products, but a lot of it just sounds like sour grapes. Also, the way he derides her for being gay makes me doubt him as a human being.

    Yep.

What? Jillian is not that big! And you know I have 8 year old cousin has a deep raspy voice and I bet she's never used steroids.

Yikes. Well, I still find her motivational. I never thought I'd look like her, but she's pretty good at getting people off their butts.
You want to look like her?

Keep doing whatever you're doing and add a couple of cycles of anavar and test.

    eat tren
    clen hard

I'm sensing sour grapes there big time. I got a couple of her DVDs on clearance (needed something cheap I could do at home) at Walmart and they're definitely a workout, I just leave it on mute so I don't have to listen to her. :) I've also never seen The Biggest Loser and never will after reading horror stories about how contestants are treated. I'm kind of on the fence about her as a whole tbh...good trainer, not so good person? I haven't a clue.

One of the bigger reasons I will not watch The Biggest Loser...the fact that most of the contestants gain practically all the weight back and thensome! Besides, I wasn't in any rush to lose weight. I took my time and lost 50 lbs. in a year. Now I'm working on getting my abs a little flatter with Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs. I'm not expecting overnight results, as again, I'm not in any serious rush. I just want to let my abs look better.

I've seen this before, and my response is "who the hell cares?". Jillian Michaels is a brand. She wants to make money. All she has to do is slap her name on something and she can make another million for her family. What is wrong with that? She probably tells her own friends and family to not take her diet pills - but if some ignorant stranger wants to waste money on them and line her pockets, so what? That may sound a little cold, but she has zero responsibility to look out for your individualized health - she is a celebrity. Jillian does not know you, probably would not like you if she did know you, and has no interest in you as an individual. Why do you care so much about her personal life?

And it's not like her workout programs are bad. I mean, the reason why they are so prevalently used is because they actually work very well. I had GREAT results from 30DS, and I am now doing Body Revolution. I really like the moves she teaches, the short workout / high intensity method she uses - AND her abrasive attitude, believe it or not.

Awhile back, do you remember when Arnold Schwarznegger was revealed to be a cheating, lying, scumbag of a husband? Does this make Terminator a bad movie? NO. This is how I feel about Jillian and her exercise programs. You have to separate the TV/video personality from the actual person. If everything she teaches is really this guy's idea, why did she capitalize on it and he still drives "a crappy truck to work everyday" (his words). Sounds like jealousy to me, and if anything, it comes down to her having the motivation and charisma to turn the idea and herself into huge dollars. I can't hate her for that - happens in business all the time. If you don't strike while the iron is hot, you miss out.

She's not the only one to steal ideas from others. It's been happening since, well forever...Is it right, no, but it happens and will happen as long as people are greedy, self centered, egotistical, heartless souls. Whether she's a thief or not, whether you like her or not, her videos have helped a lot of people get up off their couches and start losing weight. That's what matters.

She's a fake, a phony, and always has been, you can see that in any video or interview, it's not a secret. She's just another greedy celebrity, BUT she has helped a lot of people get fit. Even if we don't like who she is, she got people motivated enough to do something about their health.

Whether she used steroids or not, who knows. She certainly doesn't look like she does now. She just looks pretty fit nowadays. There could have been a time when she did, sure. Currently she just looks like an aerobics fitness trainer to me though.

The way he talks about her being gay automatically makes me laugh at him and not read the rest or believe any of it. She is no worse than any other trainer who endorses products that aren't the best. WE ARE ALL ADULTS! You should be doing your own research on products you put into your body!

She got me off my *kitten*. I wouldn't ever take ANY kind of weight loss products because I know there is no magic pill. But the fact is, her videos are great, you get results.

so *shrugs* be an adult. If she was taken steroids it is her body that will suffer. Not mine. Or yours. Do your OWN research people!

I absolutely love her, and I don't care what some random dude has to say about her. If she actually "stole" from him, I would imagine he wouldn't have any trouble finding an attorney to help him sue her. The fact that he hasn't done so pretty much makes his claims seem totally without merit.

Her workouts are great, and I love her podcast. In the podcast, she seems to genuinely care about the people she is helping. Whatever, it may all be an act, but I still like her.

Her personal life is exactly that. Personal. To her.

You know reading through some of the comments, I don't get it. If someone comes on here saying they use shakes, diet pills, raspberry keytones, whatever, people run them through with nasty sarcastic comments. But here you have a "professional trainer" pushing a weight loss drug that is absolutely dangerous to a lot of people and she is given a pass because of who she is? Seriously??

Part of the reason Jillian seems "masculine" to some of you is that she has PCOS, a syndrome that includes hormonal imbalance (read: higher testosterone levels in women). If you remember, there was a big kerfuffle a few years ago when people took a remark of hers out of context. She said that she wouldn't have children because she wouldn't do that to her body. People decided she was vain. In reality, she meant that she didn't want to force her body through the rigors of IVF. The higher testosterone makes her gain muscle more readily than many women.

I have no doubt she can be a big ol' B, but that's part of the reason her videos work for me. She's no nonsense. I don't need a cheerleader; I need someone who will kick my a** into shape. I don't take her supplements, but I do like her videos. They are old-school calisthenics instead of being too dance-y, which doesn't work for this uncoordinated chick! :-) Last year, I started the Body Revolution and lost 22" in the course of a month. I sent the early videos to my sister, got sick and had to reset. Waiting for her to mail them back to me so I can start again this summer.

Well, that was a heckuva a way to post for the first time! I am a bit of a PCOS advocate, so I felt compelled to bring that up.

I like some of her DVDs but never would I buy supplements endorsed/sold by a tv celebrity. There are enough true nutrition/supplement experts out there with good, solid advice. And, I'm old enough to have seen certain supplements come in and fade away, time after time.

I agree with Muppetfan13 -- she's a solid instructor with no gimmicky moves.
