I'd deactivate my account immediately!0

Hell no!0

nope. i would either start, or go to, a free site0
-
yes, it's a better food tracker than anything I've found. Assuming they weren't charging a huge amount I would be willing to pay.0
-
No. I would go elsewhere.0
-
If they offered a cleaner food database, or additional calorie tracking methods than NEAT right out of the box, then I'd consider it.0

I would deactivate right away.0

nope that's why I am here, I belonged to a different free site, they began to charge, and most didn't stay.
its now a dead site.0 -
i'd be outta here....0

Only if they put me in charge of who gets to participate in the forums and who has to keep their mouths shut.0

This. Also if they fixed the recipe section, so that I don't have to search and re-enter a food item when I just want to change the quantity.0 -
Nope, I could use other apps to track my calories. Database might be better, but there are plenty of ways.0
-
Depends on the price, but I think I would try to find a way to track on my own in a spreadsheet or something.0

I would pay, but if this^^^^ happened, THEN I'd be out.0 -
Depends. Most likely I'll have to deact... I'll miss logging!!!0
-
I wouldn't consider them a Pal, that's for sure.0
-
Nope0

If was under $24 a year, cleaned up the food db, and removed ads for paying customers. I would go for it.0
-
No.. I'd go back to using a pencil and notebook.0
-
More than likely not. I would expect a much better site if I did. Besides there is always something new and free out there to try.0

i would consider a SMALL fee...i'm talkin a couple bucks a month.
if it were like $10/mo. no way.
ive learned enough that i can go it alone at this point.
i would trade contact info with my peeps and gtfo.0 -

Yup info trading and then id be gone. I'm not gonna pay for a site that is always breaking down.0 -
I would be tempted to pay a smal fee, no more than 3 bucks a month only if offered addtional features.0

You are the happiest looking woman I've ever seen in my life!0 -
Here are the conditions for me paying:
1) They clean out the food database and add more foods from around the world. Like Asian cuisine etc.
2) They hire people like Sara, taso, sidesteel as moderators or authors so people can find one stop peer-reviewed research backed information
3) Make clearer forum guidelines
4) Make the reports better and more useful. Right now I believe about 99.99% of the MFP population doesn't even use it.
5) They sticky threads from groups like "Eat, train, progress" on the main boards so people know where to start. Right now people have no idea where to start and what to do. There is a very good reason for all the "how much should I eat" or "should I eat back my calories" etc. There is too much confusion and vague information from MFP directly. Some stickies on the forums would help.
I'm sure there are more but as of right now, they'd need at least these things before I consider giving them coins. This is an amazing site and I absolutely LOVE it though.0 -

100% this
Funny... Sara, Taso, and Sidesteel are my top choices too...hmmmm, must mean something...0 -
There would have to be a LOT of improvements for me to be willing to pay. Taunto hit on some good ones. Virtually all the real content on this site is user-provided. Sometimes that's good, sometimes it's very very bad.0
