The Office - The final episode was good, I'll give them that, but they should have ended the series after Steve Carell left.
Firefly - Should have been properly aired in the first place, and of course, Serenity just crushed my sould. "I am a leaf on the wind."
Arrested Development - Didn't deserved to be axed in the 3rd season, the Netflix Season 4 was strange. Maybe it should have just stayed dead.
BSG - It started off really good, descended into WTF for quite a while, though it did end where logic dictated it should.

why do so many people hate the Sopranos ending? i thought it was a very creative way to show Tony died at the end.

    Buffy, the vampire Slayer
    And Angel!

OMG how could I have forgotten about Buffy?! It went downhill after Angel left!

    Yes!
At the time, I wasn't watching the show Angel. So, when Buffy ended, I thought for so many years that Spike was dead!

    Wait, WHAT? SPIKE WASN'T DEAD???

Spike is dead. His character on "Angel" was a ghost.

Just for a while. He comes back all solid and snarky and smirky as ever.

Terminator: TSCC - As was mentioned huge cliffhanger to cancellation, thanks!
Sopranos - Nuff Said.. ending sucked
    Deadwood
    Carnivale
    Entourage - sigh...
Rome - Shoveling years and years into the final season when they found out they were not getting renewed
Heroes - This show had so much potential yet drove itself right off the cliff, Why didn't you just let Peter have all those powers and let Sylar be a total bad *kitten*!! WHY!!!!
The Office - The last 3 years have been absolutely abysmal in terms of humor, should of been cancelled well before Steve Carrell left.

Heroes - I hated the ending!
Roswell - the ending was weak!
Farscape - They just straight up cheated us out of the last seasons we were supposed to get.
Friends - I thought the ending was weak.
Charmed - pretty much the whole last season sucked.

Lost- I wanted something more creative!

I second this. It felt like a total cop-out, and like they had never actually bothered to think that far ahead. Lame.

Yes! Super lame! I invested six years of my life in that show and that sorry-*kitten* ending was the best they could do?
^^^ This! So many emotions... :noway: :grumble:   :explode:  :brokenheart:

The US version of Life on Mars. What the heck was THAT ending about?:grumble:

Ooh I haven't seen the US version! Loved that show!

It's awesome up until the last little bit of the last episode, lol. I've never gotten as emotionally invested in a show as I did with that one. I haven't see the other version, but I understand that I need to as a fan of the show!

Every show I've truly loved to watch has had a disappointing ending.... Roseanne, Friends, 3Rd Rock, Freaks and Geeks, Weeds... Just to name a few...

I actually liked the last episode of Freaks and Geeks. I was sad the show ended, but the end was fitting. The show starts with Lindsay trying to find her place and making a big transition in her life, and it ends in basically the same way.

Does anyone remember a show from the '90s called Dinosaurs? It was about Dinosaurs, interestingly enough, and they were all puppets that didn't really look genetically related and the baby used to call the father "not-the-mamma". Most of the humour was pretty suggestive, but us kids were allowed to watch it because puppets, and mostly my dad thought it was funny and wanted to watch it and puppets were the excuse. It ends with the ice age. Which wouldn't be so bad except it ended with them all huddled around together for warmth in their living room, with their coats on and blankets piled around them, waiting to die. I think I may have been traumatized.

Yes! That was a horrifying ending!
  • LOST
    heroes (forever a cliffhanger)
  • "The Sopranos"....after watching all 6 seasons several times over, not giving the series an ending of any description really cheesed me off...and now that T is no longer with us, they never will have an ending.

    This.

90210 and ghost whisperer and futurama.

futurama hasn't ended yet... Although it just started it's final season, which makes me sad... But I admit I was sad with their ending when they were cancelled from Fox, until they got creative did movies and later got picked up by comedy central.

    But for my picks:
Lost - so many better ways to go with it. Hell I would have taken the old classic in the mind of a special child over what they chose.

Dead Like Me - there was no end, they left a cliff hanger not expecting to be cancelled. The movie they put out a few years later was garbage because they replaced one of the characters and one just didn't show up

Firefly - definitely dead before it's time, and I boo-hooed at the end of the movie because it wasn't that good and they literally killed any chance of the show getting picked up again

Agreed. I want more of the first season. The second season didn't do it for me.

    Merlin.

So many main characters that everyone loves just dying.

I was pretty much making the exact same face as Merlin himself:

    Big Love

they took the easy way out by killing off Bill

DITTO!!! Along with the Sopranos! What a terrible way to end both of them! No chance for a Soprano reunion show now.
