Men: would you date a married woman?
Replies

how do you define married?
I have friends, they are married....they are a lovely gay couple that were just married...
and my friend dates....
because his partner is dying and his partner insists that he wants him to find someone to hold him through his death...
so his dying husband arranges for him to go on dates.....and he dates...to make his dying partner happy....
and they are married...
i guess what I'm saying is....the definitions of the human condition are too individual to put ONE spin on any one thing....
you just can't.
That's a decision made by the couple.
I know I personally read the original post as if it wasn't something agreed to or openly made aware to the spouse...which in that case we all know how that usually ends up. When all parties are in agreement, yes that is a different story.
i totally agree....
when there is lying involved and someone is being cuckolded, it's obviously a horrible thing.
Great.
Can we make out now?0 -
What if she is married to another woman? That's legal in many states.0

The answer for me is absolutely no, even when I was single. Marriage still means something to me, so I won't do anything to undermine it, mine or others'.
How about you?
Is your mom married?0 -

you claim to be squeaky clean about this yet you are compelled to start a thread about this??
SMH...really.
^^ exactly my point earlier0 -
when I see threads like this I can't help but wonder WTF compelled OP to start this thread.
Don't you have anything better to do? I'm sure there are plenty of volunteer opportunities in your city to help feed the homeless or something.
game, set and match....0 -
In for a bunch of Lying
(or maybe not, men are so shameless)
I do too, it's like a game, one woman left hers to be with him, but he was just having fun, enjoyed the challenge with no intention of following through. And he's a great guy in most respects, that truly shocked me. I think that game is disgusting0 -
By date you mean bang right?
Nope. try to live my life to a certain standard. Others have different standards. But I gotta be true to me, and I think that would be a bad idea, have crappy consequences, and be ultimately unfulfilling.0 -
I regularly date a married woman. I'm quite attracted to her and love taking her out to dinner and occasionally out for adventures. We've done zip lines and wall climbing, but most of the time it's dinner and a movie. I'm really enjoying the experience!
Before anyone takes this too seriously, I'm talking about dating my own wife. I highly recommend it . . . um, that you date your own wife not mine.
IN!
Oh, wait. You weren't offering up your wife. Nvm.
OUT.0 -
Doesn't matter what the woman's situation is. I don't mess with anyone I'm not married to.
I've only kissed one woman, and it wasn't until after I put a ring on her finger.
That's how I do it and it works for me.0 -
Is any responsibility at all on the single person (male or female)?
They aren't cheating on anybody.
I do think there's some on the single person. But yes, most of the responsibility is on the married person.0 -
Dirty girl. lol (Adini749)0

From the individual persons moral perspective maybe, but if they are personally OK with it then to me the situation is entirely on the married party. I mean if it isn't one man, it'll be the next.0 -

There are plenty of women out there that are just as shameless... :flowerforyou:
Right... or there wouldn't be anyone for them to date...0 -

haha0 -
Hell nawwww
What's the point? To be dating someone you know doesn't respect the bounds of their relationship? Plenty of people out there who respect their partners - no need to dip into that pool.0 -
My boyfriend doesn't mind but my husband sure does.
*joking I have never nor will I ever cheat*0 -
It's kinda fun reading the replies that skirt the obvious question and focus on technicalities
I'm truly curious. I reckon there are still more nays than yays, but I could be very wrong, especially with the younger guys.0 -
I would absolutely date a married woman ... and I'm sure her husband, and mine, would enjoy witnessing our date. :flowerforyou:0

everyones says no but in a heat of a moment things could easily change0

 :frown:
Every single man I have known enough to talk a little has had a wife or girlfriend cheat on him. So what was that you were saying?0 -
Here's how I see it!! If a woman has a ring on her finger, she's off limits, simple!! Some people might argue that maybe she might be unhappy in her marriage, but it's not up them to decide that the marriage is over and engage in an affair with the woman! Unless she actually makes the decision to end the marriage and make herself available, then she's off limits!! Simple as that!! But that's just my view! I'm sure others will definitely disagree with me!0

eventually...someones feelings are gonna get hurt here

NOPE
If you aren't a douche bag you wouldn't be in a situation that put you in a "heat of the moment" type situation.0 -
I only date married men. Specifically, one - my husband.
Also, I am not a man. (Though I do play one on t.v.)0 -

Good one Michelle! You nailed it!0 -
I did, would I again.....probably not. Just like women dating a married man at some point someone gets hurt, that was me. So no, not because marriage is so special, if she's already going there the special is over. It never works out how you planned. :-)0

If so it will probably be a woman not a man... just sayin:ohwell:0 -
nom nom nom... need my popcorns to read all this!0 -
This question was directed at men, so I'm not gonna answer.
I will however help myself to a little popcorn. Well just the smell at least. And the feels....someone else can eat it and get all the cals....
NO! I will NEVER get tired of this gif. Ever.0
