Hubby made the list for firefighter at #3.
I thought mine would be on there for sure, but nurses didn't make the top ten.
How about your job?
Stressful or not?

I can't believe nurses didn't make the list! My cousin is a nurse and I know her job is stressful!

Mine is pretty stressful some days but probably not in the top 10 either. I'm the Quality Manager of a factory that makes beer bottles.

Mine is in the middle. Didn't make either list but is probably closer to the NON stressful variety...

My husband however, is #1. He is active duty military.

Nursing gets the shaft in EVERYTHING! Not stressful?! Hmph...

I went over to healthcare IT and it can be stressful at times, but as a whole it's nothing compared nursing.

Apparantly collections isn't very stressful...Could've fooled me when you have to learn the law without a law degree and you have to call people for the money they don't have and take them to court and try to locate them and have the screaming at you every day...

    Cheers, hun. :drinker:

We just got married 2 months ago, I am not even living with him yet, and I am already stressed. He is in Hawaii and I am trying to get there without any help from the military. They won't help at all. I
n fact, that have stressed us out by saying yes, we can help, just fill out these forms.
:5 days later: not those forms, these forms.
:1 week later: Fill out these and apply here.
:1 month later: we will only pay for a portion of the move not the whole thing.
:2 months later: We pay for nothing. You are on your own.

    :explode:

I leave in less than 2 weeks.

Mine isn't on the list. And it would probably be on the low stress list. I do tech support for a small software company that specializes in non profit accounting. And I work from home, making my job even easier.

Huh. Kinda surprised it didn't make the list, since historically we have one of the highest suicide rates by profession, as well as the highest rate of drug and alcohol addiction.
