you look awesome thanks for the inspiration. your story sounds a lot like mine. If cardio doesn't do it, weight lifting does. Of course I try to balance the two. GREAT JOB!
Imma stop posting all in a row after this, I swear.
I do not mind cardio but I have to be honest and admit that I don't do a lot of it. I sometimes bust out a Jillian video if I'm feeling it and I walk to the store once or twice a week, but most of my work is spent lifting heavy and doing body weight stuff to improve my flexibility and balance, which I do to help me with my lifting.0 -

I'm actually inclined to agree with you. Eating has never been an issue but activity can be. My solution was figuring out how much I had to workout to eat X amount of food and then making that happen. If 3 hours a week is what it takes to eat 1800-1900 calories that that is what I'll do, and do in fact do.
Also I realized I didn't mentioned this in my first post: I'm 5'3 (give or take) and 150 pounds. My GW is 135, and then all of my focus will be on body recomp.0 -

I choose 135 because I'm very...um oh what's a good word. Well I have a big *kitten* and big boobs. I like these traits about myself, but they also kind of skew me towards the 'heavier' send of things. (Also make my jeans gap in the back. I even buy 'curvy' cuts and still, that damn gap!) I believe 115-140 is totally reasonable for women around our heights.
Technically I'm overweight/have an overweight BMI. So. There is that.Very inspiring! I'm too sore from lifting right now, but I'm really digging the eat part

I do really help a few people might take something away from this. You don't have to eat small amounts, you don't have to run until you've left a small lake at your feet, you don't have to be uncomfortable or unhappy or alone. You can lose the weight and become an amazing sexy better your and still eat. You can lift heavy and slim down. You can do it all while feeling good, and occasionally surprising yourself and feeling like a BAMF.
And good lord it doesn't have to be complicated. I see a lot of people over thinking and going to extremes when it's really very simple (barring medical issues). Eat a little less. Lift something heavy. Move a little more.0 -

ROCK ON! I love it! In 2011 I lost almost 50 pounds, then in 2012 I lost 2 more pounds but went down from a size 10 to a size 6 from lifting! It is the way!0

I started with New Rules of Lifting for Women and completed stage one, then moved onto Stronglifts 5x5, which you can find out more about here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/4618-stronglifts-5x5-for-women
I also do body weight circuits 2/3 days a week (I follow Body by You, but I hear there's an app called Be Your Own Gym for phones) and then rest 1/2 days a week.0 -
