I love my oatmeal! I usually put a tablespoon of ground flaxseed in it, 1/2 tbsp honey, cinnamon, sometimes 1 tbsp peanut butter, and always fruit. It's very filling. :)

Breakfast was refrigerator oatmeal: a combination of steel cut oats, soy milk, greek yogurt, cocoa powder, chia seeds and bananas. Made last night for an on the go meal.
And my mid-morning snack was whole grain bread with natural peanut butter and flax seeds, with some strawberries on the side.

    Definitely recommend both!

I had a peach greek yogurt. I didnt buy my belvita bisquits this week so I am without those... And my snack was a string cheese and a big juicy peach!! YUM!

If I am home for breakfast I normally scramble up some eggs and make a breakfast burrito with a little cheese, sausage (or bacon) and maybe some avocado.
  • I love having Weetabix with semi-skimmed milk and 1/2 a chopped banana. I'm also obsessed with Banana egg pancakes, mash up a banana and an egg to create a kind of "pancake batter" lightly spray a a frying pan with oil (I use the one cal spray) and put a small dollop of the mixture onto the pan when it's hot. Cook like a pancake.

When I eat breakfast in the morning (usually it's noon), I'll have 4-5 scrabbled eggs cooked in lots of butter and lots of shredded cheddar cheese with 4-5 strips of bacon. Sometimes I'll have my low/no carb pancakes with them.

    almost every day i have:

one cup of plain yogurt with fruit and one quarter cup walnuts (right now plums from the yard, and blackberries)

    or

half a small melon with cottage cheese (a delicious classic, i shall eat this every day when the many melons in the garden ripen)

oatmeal with fruit and walnuts (when its cold outside, not as much in the summer :)

    or

sandwich of sprouted grain toast with fried eggs (when im extra hungry in the morning)

Monday - Friday = Schroeder shake (1 scoop of chocolate whey protein, half a banana, 1 tablespoon peanut butter, and 1 cup of 1% milk)

Saturday - Sunday = egg whites, bacon or sausage, jelly and toast, waffles ... some combo of that to keep calories within reason

I didn't plan breakfast this AM (went to bed last night without doing it and woke up too late to make what I REALLY wanted - a homemade smoothie), so it was an egg white delight. Sigh....

My typical breakfast options during the week are:
Homemade smoothie (greek yogurt, 1% milk, and fruits - especially berries!)
    Oatmeal with fruit
Fruit mixed with greek yogurt and granola
Egg wrap (from home) - small tortilla with an egg or two and veggies
Standard cereal with milk and fruit
