and of course the cals aren't liste d
    no thanks

just plug the brand of flour and ice cream you use in the recipe builder it prolly varies based on what you use. someone just posted they cut it into 10 slices and it was 100 cals each. it's not that big a deal to plug it in yourself, and it's already posted by the op that it's not meant to be a low cal recipe, just something tasty and fun and easy to make.

Why do you feel the need to make the comment every time?. As someone already said, it depends on the type of ice cream. It's not exactly hard to work it out yourself using your choice of ice cream.

You really shouldn't discount a recipe that doesn't have calories guesses, and you really shouldn't hang your hat on any calorie guesses with recipes. they're often far from accurate. :flowerforyou:

It's not often I see a recipe that I'm totally interested in trying. This one was worth me telling my husband about.

    Can't wait!

I'd be scared to waste good icecream, but it would be a great solution for when I accidentally leave some icecream out (it happens!).

made this turned out fine but next time Im using a different flavor ,its not sweet like you might think actually very mild, I used super kid by Ruggles, its raspberry , vanilla and lemon and threw in some blueberries . I also dusted it with powdered sugar after I made it. Added a tbsp of sugar to the batter too.

texture was good and taste fine

I used the recipe from the Taste of Home btw basically the same recipe .

Super easy here is my ice cream bread :)

    I must try this. Must.

Freshly baked ice cream bread with Nutella. Yes. YES!!!

I'm imagining banana-peanut butter-chocolate ice cream bread with some melted peanut butter drizzled over top.

 Too bad I'll never make this. All self control would be OUT the window.

mine were 248 cal 42 carb 7 fat 2 saturated fat 4 fiber 6 protein

    Yum yum!!! So trying this.

I can't believe people are whinging about not having a calorie listing for a 2 ingredient recipe (especially when the cals totally depend on the flavour you use).

So I tried this and OMG!
I used strawberry icecream, and then made french toast with the bread. It was heaven :smooched:

OH WOW, French toast ice cream bread. You took an awesome idea to begin with and elevated it. Genius.

This sounds awesome! Would love to see more pics from people who tried it. Can't wait to give it a shot and use it to make French toast like someone mentioned. Yummo!
