What is your appetite suppresant?

Surfing the net. I literally lose track of time while on it in the evenings and I'm never thinking about food while I am on it.0

Eating well. No need to suppress my appetite when I'm eating right. :drinker:
But long runs do kill my appetite. Anything more than 6 miles or so, and I could easily forget to eat lunch.0 -
I just started using Glucomannan. I got it from my local Vitamin Shoppe. I saw it on Dr. OZ and it is in capsule form. Its basically fiber. Which just so happens to be the main ingredient in the weight loss drug LIPOZENE.:bigsmile:0

Doing something. Whenever I keep busy I don't think about food until I am really hungry. If I sit around to much I think about it, and I have it.0

Cardio & Shakeology but mostly Shakeology and it's super healthy for you. My weight loss increased from 0.75 pounds a week to 2.25 pounds a week just by having it for breakfast instead of shredded wheat. Plus it boosts energy, reduces muscle soreness, helps with muscle repair and promotes digestive health (the main issue slowing weight loss).0

Tea tea tea! I do love me some tea
Seriously, I have even allocated one of the mini-cupboards in the kitchen (housemates weren't using it anyway) just for my stash!
It serves another function too - keeping me warm in winter! :laugh:0 -
Tea, gum, kombucha!0

This is really terrible and unhealthy of me, but cigarettes. I don't recommend it, the appetite suppressing qualities are not worth the health determents.0

I don't think distraction or motivation is quite the same thing as suppressant.
To suppress: water, coffee, or peppermint tea
To distract: sleep or sex
To fulfil hunger: rice or avocado or eggs (anything protein rich really)
To meet the urge to pick and snack: radishes or sugar snap peas
To motivate me: me at my lardiest, or a semi-nude photo of a sexy bloke
Exercise makes me extra hungry.
Alcohol makes me think it's okay to nibble on high-cal treats.
I smoked a long time ago and cigarettes are totally appetite-suppressing, but it's virtually impossible to keep fit with a smokers cough.0 -

Honestly. Having breakfast. Yes yes I know. We are all supposed to eat breakfast. But I didnt for over 25yrs. So learning to again is hard. On the days I eat breakfast. I don't get anywhere near as peckish in the afternoons, after lunch. Than if I skip it.
As far as motivation goes. Knowing my kids are watching me look after myself. I don't want to let them down by treating my body like I used to. Its nice to have their support.0 -
Sleeping, although a really good book that keeps me so engrossed that I can't take a break to get food also works!0
