I blow it big time just about every weekend !0

I go over at least 3 days a week, mainly at weekends!0
-
I go over 1-2 days per week, but usually not by much. I am still losing, so it doesn't bother me in the least.0

About once a week on refeed days.0

I hear you. I did so yesterday and felt crummy this morning - but hey! Lets move past it and focus on today. There's no use in feeling down about it because it'll just KEEP us down!
Have a fantastic day!0 -

I'll go over by 50 calories or 100 calories a couple times a week. No big deal. I'll definitely do a refeed once a week where I eat at or slightly above maintenance levels. Friday morning brunch is going to be killer.0

Much better for me is looking at the report that MFP generates showing your weekly average--even though I swing back and forth between under and over eating during the week, my *average* stays down below my limit. And if my *average* stays down, then the scale will go down. Hang in! One or two days a week of being slightly over aren't going to ruin your progress.0

Every few days but I don't sweat it--I don't go over much. The most was my birthday and it was only about 400 calories.0

Almost every day.
Can I eat discipline for breakfast?
That would fix the problem0 -
I've gone over twice this week, while visiting family. I've been making up the difference. Fortunately, I've got them talked into visiting a huge botanical garden today, so I'll be getting some physical activity.
Edit: I refuse to be discouraged about it. I'm logging carefully so I know how much I've gone over.0 -
What is your calorie intake set at? Have you caculated your BMR or TDEE? Try cutting out all liquid calories if you drink sodas, etc. We all have days that we go over & that's ok! (:
I have mine set at 1200 but go over it 3X a week because I eat 1300- 1400 calories twice a week, 1200 calories four days a week & 1000-1100 calories once a week. My dietician recommended I change up my caloric intake daily so my body doesn't get used to the same old calories consumed. So far so good!0 -
Calories? Never. My struggle is with sodium since I'm on a low-sodium/low-carb diet. Try cutting wheat out of your diet for a day or two and see what kinds of numbers you get. It can make a big difference.0

Mmm, I can honestly say never in 240 some odd days.. I have some nice self control.0

Almost everyday!0

Well, I did on my first day I came back to the site but my calorie limit was set way too low so I'm not counting that anymore. Yesterday I went over by nearly 700 calories but decided to do some exercise and burnt off 433 calories which means I only went over by 240 calories. One day isn't going to kill me though. If you fail to meet your goal just try to do better the following day. You shouldn't look at your calorie goal anyway, you should look at your net calorie goal.0

I don't do it often enough to worry about it.
When I do? It's not a big deal...as long as I am averaging what I need within a few calories either way each week, I don't really worry if I go over.
ETA: It's not as big a thing for me in summer, as when it's really hot and muggy, I don't eat tons, anyway.0 -
Everyday, im eating 4000 calories and slowly gaining weight0

I keep a real close eye on my daily calorie intake. I'm serious about my workouts and love the results I'm seeing. But I refuse to resent my efforts and, so, if I go over my intake one day, I refuse to feel guilty about it. I just wake up in the morning and consider it a new day. I play a mental game with myself the following day and see if I can gain back the calories I went over on the day before. Even if I can't do it, I just focus on staying under, without guilting myself to death. You want your progress to be challenging and fun - not guilt-ridden. You're not a lone - good luck!0
