Jameson!! I got to go to the distillery in Dublin this summer and had Jameson and Ginger for breakfast and shots after the tour for lunch!

It is a great place isn't it!! Did you go up to the guiness storehouse as well? Amazing sky bar there. I did them both in one day, got totally hammered, best girlie weekend break ever!

My husband and I had a blast going to both. :drinker: Guinness tastes soooooo much better in Dublin. There was even a taste difference between London and Dublin?? Then back to the States? Or maybe that was just in my head?

    Wild Turkey American Honey.

I wanted to like Dewar's Highland Honey, but it gives me heartburn something wicked. :brokenheart:

There is definately a taste difference!! If it isnt poured (or stored) correctly that really affects the taste. I live in England but wont touch the stuff here, I wait til i go back home to have some (I am Irish :) )

    Whiskey-Templeton Rye

I've read so many good reviews on that! Apparently it was the whiskey of choice to Al Capone

Primarily maker's mark, but Jameson if I'm taking shots! Or if I'm drinking guinness... they just go together.

Maker's sour is a regular entry into my diary! :drinker:

Whisky - Pendleton, opened with just one or two ice cubes (at home) or "up" if I'm out.

Scotch - Johnny Walker Green (or Blue, if I'm feeling particularly fancy). No ice, just poured straight into a rocks glass.

Not so much for the bourbon... but I'll have some Hendrick's Gin or Tito's Vodka, please.

There is no E in whisky.

My favorite whisky is Booker's or Knob Creek. Depends on my mood. Tonight I am in the mood for Booker's and a La Gloria Cubana Cigar.

Thank you for bringing some sense to this party. Just like there's no sex in the champagne room, there's no E in whisky. Bleeeergh.
