Yes! This is exactly what I need... A goal that will challenge me and people to encourage/ push me! I have 24.5 lbs left to lose and it would be great to get 15 off by Thanksgiving!0

i came to find the thread and bump it up in preparation for tomorrow expecting us to be on page 10 or higher and to my surprise, we were on page 1. how nice is that!
my wieght this morning was a great number, so fingers crossed for tomorrow!
did anyone get in a hike this weekend? crucible and i did a walk for alzhiemer's (and parked like a million miles away from the festivities. lol) on saturday. it felt great!

Then saturday I had a "girls night" and ate a lot plus alcohol is the devil when your trying to loose weight. Yes weight, you can keep falling off. I don't mind, really! Pretty happy with my progress the last few weeks. Changing up my diet and getting in moderate (not crazy-hard) daily exercise seems like just what my body needed to get back on track.

Okay so...I was doing good again/back on track for last week but then went to a wedding out of town this weekend and totally fell off track again..so this is my deciding to start over..AGAIN. lol..I am going to post my goals here and hopefully that will motivate me again. Thanks for the support:)

Took a three week hiatus from mfp. The truth is I fell off the wagon hard and gained over 10 pounds in just two weeks. Was too embarrassed, ashamed and disgusted with myself to face my friends on mfp until I righted my ship again. I’MMMM Back - Still 10 pounds heavier but back on the wagon to stay for a while (at least until Thanksgiving).
My goal is to still to lose, now close to 20 pounds, by Turkey Day. We started a biggest loser contest at the school I work at, I begin a second try at an exercise program (p90x) next week and I have all of you out there to help me keep on track. Actually, I’ve been back on my exercise program and I’ve been watching my food intake already for a few days.
Starting today I will start using my food/exercise log on mfp (like I did when I was successful). You will hear from me each week again. Good to see some of my old friends still here. Hey Dawn, Mande G. and all of you others........ I missed you all – Good to back.0 -
Had a good week I suppose. I wanted to fall off the bandwagon today but I held strong! I am having a huge sweet tooth lately and just want to eat sweets but I am trying to keep them at bay. I seem to be having problems of that I am not eating enough during the day and I have to many remaining calories at dinner/night. I need to work on spreading out my calories during the day better. That is my goal for the week along with exercising more. But the good news is that I can't fit into the jeans that I wore a few weeks ago! )

I would guess that -most- of those 10 lbs are water weight and should fall off relatively quickly. I was off the wagon off and on all summer, bouncing back and forth from 170-175 (even up to 178, following my wisdom tooth surgery). In the last three weeks I've dropped 6 lbs like nothing. Just been eating right and getting in moderate daily exercise.
Bumps in the road happen -- I'm just glad you're not letting it get the best of you! :flowerforyou: You know what you need to do to get where you want to be. We'll be right there with you along the way!0 -
if anyone wants to do a challenge this weekend, it is: TO TRY A NEW FOOD. i will post the challenge on thursdays after the weigh-in. it will be a random idea and you can chose to participate or not. if you do, have fun eating something new!0

I didn't think I was going to lose at all this week so when I stepped on the scale just now and saw that I broke 128, I was so pleased! I missed my mini goal by .4 but hey, I'm still happy and clearly on the right track!
I did do the challenge this week...I tried spaghetti squash! It was delicious and I will certainly be making it more this fall and winter!
