    Yes, these types of things, but ESPECIALLY sky-diving. The weight limit is 220 lbs. I'm now within a few pounds of being able to book a sky-diving session.

    Me too!! I'm nearly half way to my goal, and I noticed at church this past Sunday that I had crossed my legs properly and not even realized it. It was a small victory, but a victory none-the-less.
  • Cosplay in something REALLY cute and totally geek out with my best mate who's really hot (but not my type) at expos
    Feel healthy
    Not get puffed going up the one flight of stairs to my colleagues' offices
    Bungy jumping
    Feel attractive (it's a shallow goal, but hey, I can be shallow too) :blushing:
    Look awesome in a pair of jeans
    Go to the local hot pools and not feel self-conscious about being in a bathing suit (I'm not holding my breath for a bikini)
    Give my dad's wife and anyone else who said I couldn't lose weight and keep it off the finger. :bigsmile:

    I want to shop in a store where everything DOES NOT HAVE sequins, glitter, or animals...on it. Really? If I am feeling big...do I need to sparkle and have safari animals on my leg? Who thinks this stuff up? I want to be able to shop in a store where I can find something in my size, that fits well, and that does not draw attention UNLESS I want it to.

    -going on amusement rides (I had to get off one a few years ago because the bar would not lock :embarassed: )
    -to go swimming & feel comfortable

    oh yeah and see my collar bones again...I'm looking forward to that.

    Being able to wear cute shoes again, not just comfortable ones. I wore heels a few weeks ago and wound up getting x-rays 4 days later. Didn't break anything, but did some soft tissue damage.

    I used to work in heels, 8 hours a day. Now they are mini-torture chambers.

    I am really hoping that I can lose all the medications I am taking.
    Blood pressure, Cholesterol, and oral meds for Diabetes.
    These were brought on by being fat and would love to eliminate them from NOT being fat.

    three things for me

    1) buy clothes in the shops not mail order

    2) take part in a proper sporting event 10k leading upto a tough mudder

    3) ride rollercoasters with my kids

    not that i *can't* but more that I *won't* - wear sleeveless tops.

    other things that have been mentioned:
    *stop taking blood pressure and cholesterol meds
    *being able to buy clothing anywhere, not being stuck with "whatever fits"
    *feeling comfortable and confident about my body
    *being able to go hiking again
    *ride a bike (again, this is somethign that I *can* do but I felt uncomfortable and unstable so would rather be a smaller size before i attempt this again)

    I am grateful that I have a job, go to work, can still fit in *my* half of the seat on public transportation, have not yet needed an extension belt on an airplane (but on my last flight came pretty close).

    Not feeling sweaty and gross all summer because of my extra padding.

    Being able to go for a walk without looking gross at the end.

    Having100 times more energy.

    Being able to dance to music with friends and not look like a pile of jelly.

    Clothes!! Able to buy clothes, and I have not worn a dress or a skirt since I was maybe 12.. I am 29... maybe I'd get one. My family thinks I just don't like them, but the truth is I do not like how I look in them.

    Also riding rides at amusement parks. I don't ride anything anymore, to embarrassed and scared that the "locks" or whatever on the ride wont fit and I'll be embarrassed.

    Also riding a bike and rollerblading, used to do that when I was younger.

    Health reasons. not have high blood pressure, diabetes, damage to joints, and other things caused by obesity.

    Buy cute clothes in small sizes
    Ride horseback on the beach
    Not be treated like crap or totally ignored because of being fat
    Not have people judge my shopping cart and work luncheons
    cross my legs
    get up and down from the floor easily
    run and walk in the sand without feeling like I'm keeling over
  • I would love to be able to walk beside my boyfriend (Who is extremely fit... Trying to get big enough to compete in the body building comp soon...) and ppl not look at us funny... I want to be fit... Couples who sweat together stay together... He's my motivation also! :D I would love to be able to wear anything I want to and not worry about my love handles or muffin tops showing.... So yeah! Plus we attend the ren festival every year... I want to wear a cute costume and not look like Im trying to hard!

    Wear pretty underwear and not the armour reinforced monstrocities that I currently need to avoid bruised knees!
    Be able to fit in comfortably my kayak and be able to roll it again.
