i'm doing 3rd week and i gained 800 gr :( i read somewhere it's normal and i'm trying to drink more water during the day. Anyway i lost 1 cm on my waiste and i see my hips and my arms more ripped. I don't follow the meal plan because all that american food here doesnt exist (i live in South italy) but i eat 1300 cal of clean food. i'm pretty hungry during the day, i don't know if i have to up my cal to 1500 at least. I Will post my progress results at the end oh month. (Sorry for my bad english)

I start mine on Monday! I will also be starting the Shakeology and their post work out recovery drink. Did a 4 day fast this week to detox and get rid of toxins..lost 7 pounds in 4 days! Then I started my next day with clean eating...the detox helped get rid of my sweet tooth and other bad cravings. Wish me luck!!!

is it true you get better results with month 2? i just finished month 1, saw results but nothing extremely noticeable. I've heard month 2 is where people get the bulk of their results.

I am so excited to start this insanity program. The results look awesome from all of the post that I have been seeing on this site. I am currently doing a week of SANITY CHECK (beginners dvd) prior to doing the actual Insanity 60 day challenge. I took my measurements yesterday as well as pictures the day prior and I will be starting my fit test Aug 2. I know that this program is going to kick my butt because just doing the 26 min SANITY CHECK I am out of breath, sweating, and stopped a few seconds within each move. I will be keeping up with this post as well to get and receive encouragement! Good luck Ladies.

Side Note- I received Sanity Check with my Insanity program yesterday. It suggests completing a total week of Sanity alone prior to the challenge to learn the basic INSANITY moves, and build a foundation and of form and control so you can maximize your results.

Thank you everyone for posting your results! They are all very inspirational. I ran into an issue with going to the gym now that my kids are out of school for the summer. So I finally broke down and bought a copy on Amazon at a discounted price - $65. I am only 5 days in and am hoping for some serious results.

I'm excited to share mine. I lost about 10 pounds doing one round of insanity while breastfeeding my baby. He turned 5 months when I finished and he's my third kid. I'm 38 years old, was 154 when I started. Just hit 143 yesterday. I did diet somewhat, in the sense that I cut out processed carbs, but kept my calories up so I could keep the baby fed! But I was eating garbage before. Anyway, here are my pictures of my back, since no one can say I'm "sucking it in" in these. Side and front pictures were good too, but...wellllll. Here you go.

Have any plus size women tried this?
I'm still sitting just above 240 (from 268 in Jan!), but had trouble with 30DS...couldn't finish the first workout.

    Thoughts?

I have done it. I did not finish, but did about 3 weeks on and off and loved it. I was feeling so strong and could see my body changing quick. I was right around 220 when I did it(down from 300!). It was tough, but doable. I modified a lot of the moves(no jumping, slower, less reps, etc.) to suit my fitness level. You just have to give it your all and you will get stronger and faster each time you do it.

Insanity has amazing results its the first program that took me off my platueau and does challenge you both physically and mentally lol I would suggest if anyone has any knee or back issues to look into Shaun T's newest workout T25 there is a modifier in the workout and they are only 25 min long and not as intense. message me for more information on this program if you like, but again Insanity is an amazing program!!!

    ump for later
  • Hi-

I completed Insanity almost exactly a year ago. I did not follow the nutrition plan and did not count calories and I was happy with my results. I am 5'7 and my starting weight was 142lbs. I was 125lbs before having twins and then another baby all within 17 months....both deliveries were C-section so I have that lovely scar tissue and flap. Wonderful. After 1 round of insanity, I was at 133lbs and I lost 4 inches off my waist, 3 off my hips, and 2 off my arms.

Of course after that I stopped and gained all of the weight back and then some. :(. So, I started over and am now on month 2, week 2, day 3 and watching my diet this time. I will post my new results once I finish.

I have never posted before, let alone posted pics, so I have no idea if these will show up properly, but here goes.....
