I am 5ft 4in, weigh 222 and wear a size 20 to 22 jean. I have seen posts by others and they are heavier than me but wearing a smaller jean size. I just keep telling myself "they must be tall".
So if you are right around my height, what is your weight and jean size? Just curious. Thanks.

I am 5'4". Started here at 201, wearing an uncomfortably tight size 14. (I figured if I stopped buying bigger clothes I would get tired of being too big and start losing lol) Now I'm somewhere between a 10 - 12.0
-
I'm 5'5" and 140- I wear a size 2, 4 or 6 (depends on brand, etc.- mostly size 4). When I was in high school and weighed 140 I was in a size 9.
The difference now is (starting at 160) I lost 30~ish pounds, and put some weight back on by lifting. It all depends on body composition0 -
5'5", 145 lbs, US 4 or 6 depending on the brand (mostly 6)0

I'm 5'5", 198lbs and a Jean size 18 (UK)0

If those are UK sizes, then I started at 226lbs /16 stones and also halfway between a UK size 20 on top and a UK size 20 and a 22 on the bottom.
Ive been dieting for approx 8 weeks, 2 of those with MFP and now weigh 206lbs/14stone 10lbs , ive lost 20lbs in total. I now take a comfortable size 18 top and an 18 bottom. Not tight or loose just in the middle.
I want to lose 100lbs in total so im a fifth of the way to goal0 -
I'm between 5'3 and 5'4. 132lb. Jeans between 0P and 4P, depending on brand.
After I started doing strength training, I went down in pant size without losing any more weight.0 -
5'3" and a smidge, 198, size 16-18.0
-
5'4" 160 between size 6 & 80
-
5'4, 138 and US size 8- last time I weighed this much I was definitely in size 10s0
-
I'm 5'4 and currently weigh 222 as well. I buy jeans in 18-20.0
-
5'4", 145, and I typically wear an 8....although I haven't bought new jeans in a looong time (I don't want to spend money before I hit my goal weight!)0

5'3, 180lbs, and wear a 16-18 (uk). Started at 210, also wearing size 18! But perhaps I was kidding myself and should've been a 20, hadn't bought many new jeans.
That said, sizes are so screwy you can make things sound better or worse. I went through my wardrobe the other day - size 18=too tight, size 16=too loose, size 14=just right. I try not to stress about it, although it's always nice to have to pick out a smaller size.2 -
5'4" and currently 156 lbs. Size 8 misses and size 9 jrs. Get this... in high school at my lowest weight (115 lbs) I hovered between a size 7 and 9 jrs. I could only wear a 7 sometimes. This is an example of how sizes have changed over the years to make women feel better about themselves so they will keep buying new clothes. I still have a couple of things I wore back then as keepsakes and do you think I could wear those size 9s now??? Bahaaahaaahaaaaaaa!0

5'5 192lbs. Size 14/16. Was a size 18 at 220.0
-
Wouldn't taller mean bigger jeans? Tall people typically have a larger structure.0

You'll find women the same height and weight and wearing different sizes. It all depends on how you carry your weight.
I'm 5'4"
16 years ago I was 119 and in a size 4
1 year ago I was 180 and squeezing into a 14
today 154 and in a 10 or 12 (10's are sort of snug but my 12 are pretty loose)0 -
5'3.75 (almost 5'4) 243lbs, size 18 jeans. I tend to lose a size every 20lbs or so (so 220 - size 16, 200 - size 14, 180 - size 12 etc).0
-
I'm 5'5.5" (just under 5'6"), 240lbs and wear a 16/18. I used to be 262, and was getting a little snug in my 18s. Everyone is different, some people have more muscle and different body shapes also play a role.0
-
I'm 5'5.5", 153 pounds and wear a 10/12. I wore a 14/16 at 183ish.0
-
150 lbs I can fit into a sz 4 or 6 now. But as with all clothes, it depends on the cut.0
-
5'3 and when i was at my heaviest (162) i was a size 8 or 10. i've lost a lot now but i havent gone jeans shopping0
-
I'm 5'4. When I was 230 I wore 18/20. Now at 209 I wear 14 but can fit into a 12 (tight). I really think it all depends on your shape.
Back in highschool I wore a 7 and weighed about 145.0 -
Depends on how you carry your weight, brand, etc
Anyway:
5'4.5"
171 lbs
13-15* in Junior Jeans
12 - 14* in womens jeans (possibly a 10 in some brands, but I haven't tried yet)
Depends on brand. Went to walmart last month (176 lbs @ the time) and decided to try on some jeans. Was able to comfortably wear a size 12 in two different brands and a size 12 was pretty loose in another brand (compared the waist band to the previous 2 pairs of jeans and it was roughly 2" bigger)
@ 218lbs I was wearing a 17 in Junior Jeans (slightly loose) and a 16 in womens (slightly tight)0 -
5'2 142lbs and between a 6-8 US0
-
5'3.75'' 127lbs size 6 US.0
-
5'4" and 140. Junior 13 or women 10. I have a big booty ;P
I prefer to wear skirts or dresses (leggings in the winter) because I HATE sizing and want to take advantage of the fact that girls can wear an entire outfit made of stretchy material and look totally cute and even professional. :P0 -
5'3" 132 comfortable in US size 6, can wear 4 (carry my weight in my butt).0
-
I'm at 150. I wear anywhere from a 10 to a 14 depending on the cut.0
-
I'm 5.4 and weigh 160 and I am just back into my 12's but it really depends on the shop - plus I carry most of my weight on my chest ! When I get down to about 145 I find myself back in 10's - UK sizes0
-
I'm 5ft 3 (and a half!) and sadly a size 18-20 trouser size and about 220 pounds.
I managed to get down to about 200 pounds last year but out back on again, then I was a smaller 18 some larger 16's.
It sucks to be short!0
