When I worked at Wendy's we decorated the salad bar with big leaves of kale. Every night when we broke it down, we would take the kale and toss it into a bucket of ice water. The next morning we would put it back out.
We kept those same kale leaves the whole time I worked there. Months.
I don't believe in kale as a food. *shrug* sorry
Yet another reason I'm delighted to have never ever not even once eaten at Wendy's. As if I needed another reason!0 -
This whole thread TOTALLY made my afternoon! Thanks!0

I ate a gram of kale and got AIDS. Then I ate a can of corn to soften the pain, and it paralysed me from the chin down, thus becoming Christopher AIDS Reeve 2.0
But then I stopped eating gluten and I became a VS model.0 -

Also Nitrates...
I will make exceptions for...
and...
but not...
pretty much this.
I've tried kale in two forms (chip and raw I think) and it was disgusting- I can't get it- I don't get it. I think the only time I had it and it didn't taste like *kitten* was when it was blended up in a smoothie.
I'd rather eat bacon. nommy nommy bacon.0 -
