    if a woman wants you solely because you're in a band, there is a high probability that she is a *kitten*.

    My girlfriends are all giddy about guys who play guitars..not me though. We could be sitting around the campfire drinking or at a party and if some dude busts out his guitar I could not be more turned off.

    As someone pointed out early in the thread, finger skills. Your friends know :smokin:

    Nothing like a hard, fast, grinding bass line to get my juices flowing...............:blushing:

    I must say it's all about the stage presence too, if you have a bassist or guitarist who just stands there and strums.....boring....you have to OWN that stage!!! This is what I fell in love with! :love: :heart: :drinker:

    If a guy can play an instrument that's SERIOUSLY attractive, but not necessarily in a band..
    I usually go for guys with tattoos hahaha!!

    dated a drummer.... it was hot... but it didn't last. Of course I wasn't with him BECAUSE he was a drummer, but it sure didn't hurt.

    You make a connection with anyone you are playing with or who is watching you/ dancing/ listening to your music.


    When women see men in bands making music, they love it because they feel connected to them.

    You always hear how women dig a guy in a band. But I don't really think so. I was in a band in high school, and I still never had a date. When I tried to use it to my advantage, it generally went like this:

    Me: "Hey, wanna come hear my band Friday night?"

    Her "Maybe, what's the name of your band?"

    Me: "Marching"

    Her: *walks away*

    I got laid more when I was in a band than at any other point in time in my life, and that includes college. Looking back on it, the whole thing seemed rather silly, but I guess being able to finger-tap arpeggios gets certain women all hot and bothered.

    Depends how famous your band is.
    This. And depends on the style of music you play. You won't get chicks playing death metal, even though it takes more talent to play that than just about anythng else.

    Sir, I have personally gathered empirical data that provides evidence to the contrary. I was in multiple metal bands, including a death metal band, and I found that the only thing that changes is the type of girl. I like girls with tattoos and piercings, so it kinda works out. ;)

    I'm a drummer and pretty damn good. While my band was touring I had quite a few rendezvous if I might say. Then, I went solo and solo I still am, lol.

    I had techs packing my crap away but it wasn't always like that.

    Any type of band is good: death metal, jazz, boy band, etc.

    well everyone has a type....but my type just so happens to be musicians! :D I have a love of music and play guitar so maybe that's what attracts me to them. I don't know, but there's just something about a guy who can play an instrument!
