I don't eat it often but I usually get the Jennie-O reduced sodium turkey bacon - mostly because I can't eat beef. If I could eat beef, I would totally eat full on, real beef bacon every once in a while!

You do know that Bacon is made from pork... Not beef

And on top of that, how could someone eat turkey but not be able to eat beef? Who "can't" eat beef?

People who have beef allergies cant. There are several people out there that have beef and pork allergies.

    ....isn't bacon usually pork...?

Edit: Sorry, I do see that this has been noted. lol But I meant to add that I do, of course, love bacon and enjoy it in moderation...also PIG sausage. Also veggie sausage....sorry purists. I haven't tried the veggie bacon. The turkey kind is all right for what it is (different from regular bacon), but I wish it crisped up better.

    That's just sick & wrong.

I love me some bacon, but I am generally too lazy to make it.

    Hindus

Fair point, but she looks remarkably non-Hindu.

I didn't read the whole thread so maybe someone said this. People who suffer from gout have to stay away from beef unless it's a certain type.
    The Hindu type? lol

Bacon is the King of Meats.

It's delicious on it's own, scrambled into eggs, on sandwiches, with chocolate, in cookies, with caramel, in salads, with potatoes, in sauteed greens, the list goes on. Bacon does not discriminate, it just loves you and brings joy and happiness, wherever it goes, however it's prepared.

Hmmm bacon. I eat bacon and Lou's smoke pork loin (tastes like bacon)...

    Turkey bacon? Beef Bacon? wth...

Here is something my husband wants to make

baconexplosionopen_zps0e3774de.png Bacon explosion prior to cooking

    baconexplosioncooked_zpsf7912877.png after it's cooked

Weave thick slice bacon cover with crumbled sausage and cooked bacon pieces with bbq sauce....roll into a log and cook.

    When done slice like cookies...

I made one a few years ago. It's as good as it looks.

    I want one!
