OK. I'll bite.
What is the HCG diet?
Eat 500 calories a day and take HCG. HCG is human chorionic gonadotropin, aka the pregnancy hormone. Women have it while pregnant, and it's what pregnancy tests detect.
Sound unhealthy? That's because it is.
Dr. Emma? Doctor of what, exactly? (Is it like, "Hi, Dr. Nick?")0 -

What is the HCG diet?
Eat 500-600 calories a day, take pregnancy hormone, totally lose weight because of the hormones and not the lack of calories. Side effects include loss of hair, heart attack, low pulse, but people who are against it are totally haters and mean bullies.0 -

Hey, now, Hollywood Upstairs Medical College is totally legit!0 -
So let me get this right.
Step 1. Eat 500 calories a day.
Step 2. Drink a bottle of pregnant woman piss.
Any subsequent weight loss is due to Step 2, not Step 1.
Seriously?!0 -
hCG is a part of my eating. Oh no wait I'm pregnant and gaining because of it......
I'm currently making my own hCG right now, too!
Awww congrats on creating your own hCG!0 -
The description of this "diet" sounds completely insane.
Please don't believe that ****.
It defies all logic, and won't work.
This is not a sustainable or successful idea.0 -

Yep...that's the idea anyway. Co-worker that sits across from me is doing it for the second time....You know...because she can't figure out why when she went back to actually eating she gained all the weight back plus some. It is a complete mystery. I can't figure it out myself.0 -
This person is an excellent troll. Had a similar post last month about eating 600 calories a day, and never responded to that one either.0

Was she drinking normal piss at the time of the weight gain? Because that's probably it.
You should tell her I said so.0 -

Just for a laugh i looked up Dr. Emma's diet plan and actually came upon a website. www.dremmasdiet.com
Front page of the website... Dr. Emma's cotton candy meal replacement. I kid you not. Also Emma is her last name and she is actually a medical doctor.
this quote is from her website:
Dr. Emma specializes in appearances and teachings revolving around her principles of simple dieting which include, avoidance of processed foods, preservatives, fats, oils, and starches. She believes in eating when you’re hungry, but not eating when you aren’t, and almost never recommends breakfast or more than two meals per day. She thinks the usual paradigms being taught to Americans are not correct and has contrary ideas that are working wonders for her clients.0 -
