OK, let's see if this works...

On the left I was at my heaviest, last Christmas. On the right (last week), I realized I really do still have cheekbones

I take face pictures every month or so to help motivate me. The last time I did it a couple of weeks ago, the difference really made me feel good.

Everyone looks WONDERFUL!! Thank you all for adding to this thread. It's very nice to see all the progress! :flowerforyou:

Hey how are you guys adding pics.

Your question got answered but posting this again for new poeple:

    1. Upload your pic to the Internet, use a site like Photobucket or Picasa or your own website.

    2. Once uploaded to the Internet, get the photo's website address. Photo bucket and such will show you the addy but you can always just right-click on the photo and select 'view image' Once you do that go to the browser's address bar (this is the part where you type myfitnesspal.com, for example) and you will see the photo's address. It should end in .jpg or .gif or .png

    3. Select on the photo's address and copy it. Then, in your post, paste it between the image tags [ img ] [ /img]
    Without the spaces.

    4. It will look like this:
    [ img ] http://yourimageadress.jpg [ /img]

Without the spaces! I have to include spaces to show for example, or it will come up as a broken image. Hope this helps!

What a great idea, I need to start doing this! I don't really have any close-up shots of my face from when I was heavy, but here's a bit of a before and after.

25lbs lighter and a less round face:

I can definitely see a difference in all of these! 40rods: Yep, I see it! Cheeks/chin are more defined. And you look great, Mustgetbuff.

    Here's mine.
On left: beginning of July, 200 lbs. Right: Taken yesterday after workout, 174 lbs

These drastically changed photos of everyone who's sharing kind of makes me feel sad lol. My face pics from 280, 270, and 245 lb look IDENTICAL to my face pics at 218 lb (now). The only really different or fat faced pic I have is when I was 307, my all-time high.

Actually I think that's one reason I "allowed" myself to gain so much weight over the years because I've always had a fairly normal/narrow face and lean neck. It helped me to think "see I'm not that heavy".

    Seeing some progress!

Still losing weight, but about 10lbs down from that first pic...ALL of my weight goes to my face and my hips :) Its so nice to see myself looking like "me" again!

Plus an NSV, I ran a half marathon today after not running for a couple of months. Ive never been a runner, but have done an 8k, a 10k, and two half marathons so far this year. running is ok, but races are the BEST!
  • This comparison really helps me see how far I've come. Christmas Eve 2007... and last week. Almost 6 years older, but I don't think it looks it.

shabrick I have nooooo idea what in the world you are trying to say with your comments in this thread and another one. I really think 100% of the people who posted their photos before yours were doing exactly as I described in the other thread, posting very similar photos instead of "Sunday morning in their pjs" and "dolled up to go out".

And yep, I had a skinny looking face when I was my heaviest so I don't see a change in my face. Only in my body. What is the issue? I did not contradict myself nor did I say anything dishonest.

    Weird.
