I have found that my tendon doesn't hurt once I'm on the bicycle. Stairs are still right out and walking requires me to roll my foot to the outside. however, I can still bike so the charge to 400 is still on. :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
Tack on another 16 miles for a total of 150 miles. That still puts me behind pace but I'll see what I can do.
@BUBBL3S25 - Congrats on the Trailblazer 53K event!!
@CALLIOPE610 - Naaaah, never too late to join in!!! I got your Sept updated and carried the miles forward to this month.
@JENNIFERTSMITH - Congrats on your Triathlon!!
@BENNO1978 - Gotcha down and welcome!!! :drinker:

speedy, what do you mean you're learning to get used to it? Are you a newbie runner? Looking at your wall updates, I would have thought that you had been doing this for years. You're so fast!

Kudos to you Dave for amping this already great challenge up!!! And Speedy - I dig your graphics in your posts!!!!:drinker: I did not clock Any "miles" today as I got my *kitten* whooped by trimming an 8' wide by 100 foot long hedge. Still have one more dump run but will have to wait til tomorrow. After that I am looking forward to a nice long beach walk! Great weekend wishes to all!0

@teamamelia:
getting used to the crazy speed intervals on the dreadmill, which are 1 min @ 6 mi/hr:1 min @ 13 mi/h for 20 minutes :sick: And to answer your question, I started running 3 years ago, and only started this year to gain a bit of speed. :bigsmile:
And you're doing great lady! :flowerforyou:0 -
3.8 miles Scared a deer but then a big hairy spider scared me, so it all evens out.
This made me genuinely laugh out loud. I hope that's okay.0 -

Went to a JV football game so all of my *kitten* moving got started late. Did a 2 mile walk (to the game and back) and did a 4 mile bike ride (stopped due to darkness). Polar Fitness said my training load was way high, so a easy day like today is fine by me.
10/08 - 7.5 miles biking
10/09 - 10.5 miles biking
10/10 - 10.5 miles biking
10/11 - 12.0 miles biking

Eh you say?? Are you Canadian too? Haha. I've been taking Elk Velvet for a boost for a lot of things. But it too is pretty pricey. $55 a month. A bit rich for my blood but other than the wonky knee...I think it actually "is" making me feel stronger. Google it folks....it might be worthwhile looking into for those who want something different.0
