  • Hoisin sauce. Especially with some crushed peanuts and soy sauce mixed in.

    Depends on the dish, but some faves are sriracha, hot salsa, chili garlic paste, mayo, hoisin, (I don;'t mind the "lite" stuff if it's a decent brand - Best Foods/Hellman's or Kraft), plain yellow mustard, greek yogurt, horseradish, hoisin.....okay, I just like food and all that goes with it. :)

    there's a lot of sauces that have no calories in them, I'd suggest using those.

    Texas Pete hot sauce (we couldn't find it locally anywhere for a while so I ordered a gallon of it, cost me more to ship it than the purchase price!)

    Salsa verde from the Mexican joint up the street (I could drink the stuff)

    Vinegar - malt being my fave but in general, any vinegar

    Extra chunky hot salsa. I will put it on anything. Spicy hummus is a close second.

    I love hummus too. Any flavor is good: garlic, pepper, artichoke, and spicy. It is so easy to make at home, so it is not necessary to buy it.

    Marmite (it's a british condiment...as an American it took me years to build up the courage...never looked back. Eat it every day.)
    Vinegar and Dijon Mustard because of their versatility.

    But I like most condiments. Except marmalade. Bleah.

    My current obsession is dill, which I put on canned tuna, baked fish and chicken, it just makes "healthy" food taste so much better!! Yuuuuuummmmm

    I dill the CRAP out of stuff. Love it on my salad. I just stand there and shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake...I think I put way more on than is necessary but I frickin' love it. We have some in the freezer too from the garden that I love to put on a piece of fish while it is on the Foreman....top with some capers and malt vinegar....oh lordy, my mouth is watering now.

    ummm capers and malt vinegar....never though of adding that. Guess I know what's on the menu tonight!!!
