I did a half-k this weekend. Came in under 1 hour 40 minutes, wasn't even breathing hard.0

I did 48 squat machine 20 lb squats today, first time ever.0

I got out of bed today.
:laugh:0 -
Did w4 d3 of c25k this am, then walked the dogs another 35 min in the evening, and am not even too sore :-)0

I ran 3.66 miles this morning (with a few short 1-2 minute walks). Its really unbelievable. When I started losing weight about 6 months ago I felt like a walrus and maxed out at 1 minute of running. Now I feel less "walrus-esque" (not quite cheetah) and max out at 50 minutes!0

I finished up week 4 of my butt bible program and tomorrow starts Level 3 , 2 more weeks left! So proud of me! ;-)0

My facebook friends don't care at all, but I just want to brag so I'm glad I saw this thread!
7 days ago I started 30DS. I could do 3-4 jumping jacks per circuit, none of the jump rope move, none of the butt kicks and I couldn't even hold my legs up to attempt the bicycle crunches.
Today, I can do 25 jumping jacks per circuit, 2 circuits of the jump rope move (the first and last one), all the butt kicks and the entire minute of bicycle crunches.0 -

I did tire flips for the first time in my life! I loved it .
I started with 3 flips in 20 seconds in my first set, but by my 3rd, 4th and 5th set I was doing 5 flips. If I tell any of my friends I did tire flips they'll look at me like they see water burning, lol .0 -

Today was able to do the harder option during "round back" exercises in class- which are really freaking hard. You have to keep both legs totally straight- one pointing perfectly horizontally right above the floor and the other totally vertical while doing presses and stretches. Thought I was going to die but I did it!
Can I join this class ?haha
Awesome stuff all, best I can offer is over-taking a push bike going up a steep hill after giving him a headstart (he was halfway when I was at the bottom) whilst running.0 -
I normally run 6mph on my treadmill. I can usually keep this pace for a full hour without needing a break. Last week my uncle and I went for a run, except he ride his bike along side me. His speedometer said i was running 8-9mph the entire 5 miles we went. I was feeling pretty good about that. Thanks for listening.0

That is awesome! I got onto the highest box jump at my gym yesterday, feeling great! Still don't know how that happened though haha.0

This week I was finally able to run for 25 minutes without a walk break!

I outran my dogs today, finally found a way to tire them out :laugh:0

I did 24 pullups (slightly assisted)
Did 40 weighted situps
Did 50 weighted back extensions
Bench pressed 60lbs
Did 20 *real* pushups
Used the 40 lb barbell that some muscle-guy was waiting on me to finish so he could use it
Did highest level resistance on the Elliptical
Getting stronger everyday! :bigsmile:0 -
I couldn't find another thread solely for the little achievements at the gym you want to brag about, but are sure your Facebook friends are sick of hearing about!
I did 10 handstand presses in my bootcamp class this morning. My shoulders are feeling it now, but I felt so strong!
THAT. is awesome.
After 12 weeks of weight training, I am A LOT stronger!! I can actually do an unassisted pull up! This is a miracle lol.0 -
Last night I hauled a massive, heavy treadmill across some pretty thick-pile carpet, without being able to use the wheels. I scooted, I squatted, I pulled.. all with fantastic form, and I got that bia RIGHT where I wanted it! I'm pretty sure it weighs more than me. And I didn't injure myself. That's what I'm most proud of! I'm fit enough to use my body to get shiza DONE!
PS the treadmill is for my husky. That lil cutie needs to walk, even when it's rainy! And he's actually doing pretty good on it so far.0 -

I got through a whole yoga class without farting.
Hahah, that is certainly an achievement!
Yay everyone! It's so great to keep track of your progress and see how far you've come.0 -
i finally got up the nerve to use the arm machines at the gym (have no idea what they are really called). i did 3 sets of 10 reps on both of them. my shoulders feel it!0

Started running this year from a sedentary lifestyle in April. Did the Couch to 5K program and have been progressing since then.
This weekend I did my first 10 mile run, averaging a hair under an 8:30 pace.
:drinker:
To go from couch potato to running non-stop for almost an hour and a half is something I was pretty proud of. Just need to keep at it and work up my milage to get into half-marathon range for next spring. Winter running will be an interesting adaptation.0 -
Walk 4.2km 6 nights a week to keep my wife motivated. Not a big deal except it's walking on my toes. I have extreme PF. Along with other foot problems. Also joined a group of guys at the gym that do very high intensity work outs that i thought i was told old to keep up to.0

I ran 6 miles the other day for the first time. That was exciting!0

Oh my goodness, that's great! Especially your pace! I am increasing my distance at the moment, also aiming for a half marathon, and my long runs are more like 10:00 pace. I pushed my last mile this morning and just managed to get it to 8:59! I can't wrap my brain around 8:30 yet, let alone sustained over an hour - congratulations!0 -
I ran 8 miles yesterday! :glasses: :devil:0
