In the US flaky refrigerator biscuits come in a sort of can....it's a metal disc on each end but a foil lined cardboard tube. They're made by folks like Pillsbury and sold in the refrigerator section of the grocery store near the butter. When you pull the paper off of the tube the "can" pops open like an undone tube inside of a roll of toilet paper. The biscuits inside are pre-made and ready to put in a pan and pop into the oven. There are various sizes and varieties to choose from, but not all are flaky. They also come in old fashioned, buttermilk etc.

I'm new here, so slay me if I'm wrong, but all these bumps, while necessary, are distracting. Couldn't you post to bump to achieve its purpose and then delete the post so that you don't have to scroll through all this? I'm on my phone so it's a little tedious.

I agree with you. I just want to see the recipes, not all the bumps.

GREAT crockpot tip: I brown a whole bunch of ground beef with garlic and onions and separate and flatten into medium freezer Ziploc bags. I make about 10 "meals" at once. When I want to do a chili, spaghetti sauce, tacos, etc. I just thaw it quickly or even throw it in the crockpot frozen with all the other stuff. No extra pots to clean and takes 5 minutes in the morning! This tip has saved me for quick dinners too!

To clarify - brown the ground beef in batches on the stovetop in a deep skillet...

I'll be trying a new recipe probably tomorrow - will post it if it's good - chicken with italian dressing - probably serve with some pasta - nom nom. The plan is boneless skinless chicken, package of dry italian dressing (because I got some on sale super cheap with a carafe and I don't like dressings made with mixes LOL), some olive oil. Will post the final version later!
