Felt much better today so I took a long walk along the bike trail. Thanks dcmatt for reminding me about the thin layers, I felt much warmer than I thought I would. Bunny, I started laughing too when I thought about the ski mask. I'm sure I would have run for the hills if I turned around today and saw a cyclist or a runner coming up behind me me wearing a ski mask. Even if he (or she) didn't have a crowbar.

Speedy, you go girl. :drinker: :drinker: I'm sure you will do much better than you think. :flowerforyou:

October total 130.5 miles  I'm gonna make it!

I don't know what is wrong with me this month. I was sick the first part of the month but ever since I got out of the routine, I am having trouble motivating myself. I hope that I am able to reach my goal. So close but not quite in the green! Hopefully, I will get there tomorrow and will do my best to stay there...

Ok Guys. Only two days left before my first half ever.
This is pretty much what I feel like from the inside,
even though nothing is visible from the outside.

I am an emotional wreck and I'm just afraid I won't finish... This is awful!
Ok. Get a grip lady! You can do this, you can do this...

@ Speedy - You have done all the preparation. You have put in all the time needed. You have read all the material needed to know how to run like not letting the anxiety and emotion let you start too fast. You are as prepared as anyone can be. You will not only complete this race, you will do better than you think you're going to do. If I could make one small suggestion. DON'T CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE BEFORE THE RACE!!! You have been successful doing what you do, so don't let someone change your routine by telling you "You should do this or that before a race". I've seen your posts on the miles and the speed. I've seen your posts on preparation. You are ready!!! Breath deep. Go to your happy place. Kick butt and take no prisoners!!!!! :explode: :explode: :explode: :explode: :explode:

17 mile training run today. I'm pretty sure this is an all time high total mileage for me (do we have that stat?) and there are still 5 days to go. You guys really pushed me this month. Holy moly, I'm probably going to end up near 150.

    exercise.png

    I've got this stat.
Your all time high was 142 miles back in March 2012. You're a few measly miles short :ohwell: :ohwell:

4 more miles this morning! I went to the park with my beloved Spike for a run and two miles into it, some man stopped me and told me that the park no longer allows pets in the park! Now my Spikey runs on a leash and I have poop bags on the leash itself, just in case, so I don't understand what their issue is. But he told me that his dog was impounded by the police two weeks before , and he had to pay $75 to get him back :( So I had to cut my run short. I came home and did two more miles on the elliptical. Oh well...
