Sure, but who sends a random FR from the app? Usually FRs from strangers come because they saw you on the forums and the forums can't be accessed from the app.
Ppl who make a big deal out of FR. It's not like a FR means that the person wants to exchange numbers. It's just a FR. And, you can find ppl one of maybe three ways on this site: the forum, a mutual friend's wall, or a blog. Why do you care how they found you????
That leads to my other pet peeve: ppl who put a million restrictions on their FR. The worst are the ppl who give the reasons that they'll delete others. Dude, are you on a power trip? It's not that serious. It's just a site.

That MFP doesn't make it obvious to you that ppl can see when you read messages that they send you! Didn't realize that until this week. What if I wanted to ignore someone or just didn't feel like responding after I read it? Way to put me on the spot, MFP. I should have the option to not let ppl know when I read their messages.
The most annoying thing about this site is that you don't receive notifications when someone replies to something that you put on their wall.
I've noticed this w some people. I see more flirting than updates about their workouts and weight loss. I'm trying to remember if they even post fitness updates.

That there are so many complaints about a site that helps so many of us and is free to use. I understand peeves about some of the butt heads on here, but to rag on the site that helps us?0

People who come into a thread to complain about the topic. Ahem. :laugh: Especially the ppl who complain about suggestions that people make in the Feedback/Suggestions forum or say that we should be happy that the site's free. THAT'S WHY THE OWNERS HAVE THAT SECTION OF THE FORUMS, so that they can get feedback and make improvements!0

I wish the site would adapt some Facebook qualities. Specifically, being able to "like" someone's topic, post, comment, etc. and also get notifications that someone has replied to your post or quoted you.0

People who only post to alert the world about scare-mongering, fear-inducing "studies" on sugar/soda/flour/whatever that are completely off-base and wrong.
If every single post from a person is apocalyptic, negative doom and gloom drivel, it just makes me wonder what their purpose here really is.0 -

But some of us don't want to recreate facebook. Because it's *kitten*. And it's facebook.
Plus, if you're looking for quality exchange with people, how are you going to manage it with 500 lame status updates spamming your profile? If you're a collector/creeper/whatever, then have at it. Just don't ask me to be all impressed about it!0 -

I agree. Can't stand friend requests without a message. Also-closed diaries annoy me to no limit. And people who ONLY post about themselves and never comment on anything anyone else does. Annoying!0
