Not exactly a death, but when Donna leaves in Doctor Who - the whole thing about him having to take all her memories to save her life, so she isn't who she'd become with him.

And then River Song and Amy & Rory Pond and the Doctor dying (and not) at Lake Silencio. Like, that whole season, even with how it resolves, it just kills me every time!

(Yes, I'm a Doctor Who freak!!)
    Donna's departure was so sad!!
I cried so. hard. when Ten regenerated! I was grieving for weeks. I still haven't continued the series... I'm watching it on Netflix.

I know people weren't big on the third Xmen movie, but I cried when Professor X died.

    Spock from Wrath of Khan.

    Wash from Serenity.

When Patrick Swayze leaves at the end of Ghost.

When Eponene (can't spell it) dies in Les Miserables.

I became severely dehydrated during the Finn Hudson episode on Glee.

    I'm sure there's more-I'm a big baby.

The scene in UP when they're in the doctor's office finding out that they can't have kids.
My wife had miscarried shortly before we saw the movie, and this really hit home.

Even though they've been said before:
    Marley & Me
    Where the Red Fern Grows
Crash, when the little girl jumps in front of her dad (even if she didn't die, my wife and I were both like, "NOOOOOOO!")

I also saw UP shortly after I miscarried. Wrong movie to see after going through something like that.

Marley in Marley & Me - watched it about four months after my 1st dog died and I was a friggin MESS! - I am no longer allowed to watch that movie
What Dreams May Come - the whole damn movie
Carin in Patch Adams, so sad he lost the person he loved - even though in Real Life it was his best friend, not girlfriend who was murdered
ETA: Snape in Harry Potter - my heart breaks for him every single friggin time I watch that movie & when Sirius died, I hurt for Harry!

    TV:
**ALL TIME** Seseme Street - Goodby Mr. Hooper (it's still with me)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxlj4Tk83xQ
    Buffy's Mom - The Body
Glee - The Quarterback (I haven't watched for a while and it killed me)
Breaking Bad - Not going to say anything for spoiler issues
Six Feet Under - Final Episode
The Wire - there are a few, and I don't want to spoil it for anyone...but drugs, drug dealers, cops, and Baltimore are a catastrophic combination.

    Movies:
Terms of Endearment - the freaking last 10 minutes
    UP - Beginning Montage
    Million Dollar Baby - End
Bambi - when his mom dies
