First ride of the month, got soaking wet and covered in mud but loved every minute of it. Still loads of fallen trees blocking the route so I might have to start riding on the roads again until they are cleared away but the dirt tracks are so much more fun

Thanks for the post! I enjoy commuting to work. It is approximately 7 miles each way. Winds along Lake Michigan can be brutal... but hey, that's half the fun! I also enjoy winter riding. It won't be long before the studded tires get mounted! I will try to be realistic with my schedule, and shoot for a 50 mile goal this month........and 50 miles in December as well (on the snow). Ride on!0

November goal is 60 miles. I know it's really low, but for me, it's better than not having a goal. I'm not riding for weight loss anymore so there's that.
11/1 - 3 miles. Nice outside today, but my fatigue level was too high and the wind was too difficult to fight. Accompanied by She & Him, Volume 3 on the Walkman.

In hopes of making this month more challenging, and creating that amazing cyclist body that I desire I have upped my standard to 200 miles....win or lose it really is how you play the game.

November is off to a leisurely start.0 -
Swapped out the back tire this a.m. & put the bike on the trainer for the winter, sadly. Still, I logged 45 min on it. I wish there was something I could attach to track "Miles" and not just time.
Hey there - I use the CatEye double wireless system. There is a stationary sensor on the frame and one on a spoke of your back tire. It tracks your RPMs and converts it speed and distance traveled as well. I love it for my trainer and on the road. Hope this helps!0 -

I ride outdoors and do 2 rpm classes a week - just got my bike computer so I will now be able to figure out what distances I actually ride when outdoors.

38 miles today giving me 80 miles in 2 days, last few miles were hard but I will soon get back into the swing of things.I wore my seal skin overshoes today and it was so much better than yesterday as my toes looked blue after yesterday's ride, perhaps this diabetes is finally catching up with me as well as my age

Have decided to log spin class as a 20 mile ride, not to worry I understand that indoor and outdoor ARE two differing beasts, so no matter I will log accordingly.
