Mix some pumpkin or apple butter into it, or a little jelly. Or some canned pumpkin with pumpkin pie spice. Eat it on toasted raisin bread with a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. My mom used to mix up banana and sour cream into cottage cheese when I was a kid. Or just eat it plain.0

I like it plain with wheat thins or over the top of tomato with salt and pepper
It's also delicious with a little tomato sauce over the top and served over a piece of sourdough bread
You can use it as a replacement for ricotta in lasagna
Some people like it with fruit, but I've never cared for any combo I tried like that...0 -

For me I prefer my CC plain, I don't like putting anything in it, but you could try fruit or as a dip with crackers.0

Cottage cheese is something I realized too late in life just disagrees with my system. I get fuzzy headed and feel generally degraded. So, I do not eat cottage cheese under any conditions. I realized this about 10 years ago and then when I read "Eat right for your blood type" saw that it was not recommeneded for my blood type (Type A). I don't totally believe the blood type categories as they seem too broad, but in this case it was correct. Give me a bowl of blueberries instead, any day.0

I add 1/4 cup blueberries and some grape nuts (for crunchiness). Also add 1 packet of sweetner.0

eat as a dip with veggies

I like it plain, or with pepper, or with fruit (especially mandarin orange slices), but my most recent method of eating it is with cocoa powder and honey. I have been eating that every single day for like three months now.0

Cottage Cheese is not something I can eat plain...or even with fruit..I find it disgusting....HOWEVER....comma....I put a half a cup of cottage cheese in my morning Protein Drink every morning.
1 cup of calorie countdown hood chocolate milk.
1 handful of spinach
1/2 cup of cottage cheese
1/2 cup of old fashion oats.
1/2 cup of cold hazelnut coffee
3 to 4 ice cubs
2 tbl spoon of Skippy natural PB.
and blend away
That makes two servings which I drink all by my damn self. after an awesome workout!0 -

I don't care for it with the sweet/fruit additions, but LOVE it with tuna. I can't wait to try the tomato and chives idea from above. :drinker:0
