Anybody want to join me for a running challenge? Set a goal here and mark it every day here. You can post your progress by creating a ticker at http://www.tickerfactory.com
You can run, walk, or do treadmill. Just be consistent. I am setting a goal for 85 miles since I did that last month. Beating it will be a challange since I will be out of town the last week in December, but we can help motivate each other. What do you say?

I can do this! Great idea!
I have been running intervals - need to increase my time/distance, so this will be a good challenge!

I'm in! I'm shooting for 30 in December. I'm sure that sounds low but I don't count the miles I run in my bootcamp class M/W/F. Only miles I count are when I go out for a run!

I'll join in, hopefully this will help me keep up my running. I'm going to aim for 100km in December as I know it's easily achievable inbetween all my mtb sessions, as long as I actually get my shoes on and out of the door.

I'm in. My goal isn't as high as some of yours, but I am going to set my goal for 40 miles this month. I'm newer to running and have lagged in the past two months. Today I did 1.79 (in hail no less!).0

In for 60 miles in December. 0.0 so far, but I did boot camp last night and it is early in the month. I probably won't log a run until tomorrow, but I will hit 60.0

I'd love to join and have some accountability. I'm very frustrated with my running, or lack of, lately. Please put me down for 40 miles for the month of December!

Dumb question, but how do I add my ticker? Where is it in our settings?
If you go into your ticker page, I think the link is:
http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticker/ticker_designer.php?type=8 << may be slightly different
Then you go to your settings page. Make sure you type your pin in that you set when you created your ticker account.
Then where it says "Your current cumlative value, there is an add button. Just add what you just did and the cumlative value automatically changes. Then hit next.Great Idea!

After you hit next, it will give you a bunch of codes suggesting on how to display your ticker.
Use the one at the bottom where it says Direct Image URL:
It will look something like:
http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/w6K1EiX/exercise.png
To display that correctly in your post, make sure you place the img tags around that link. So it will look, (removing the spaces in the img tags):

Thanks for joining me. If you stated your goal, then you are in. You will have to self report and track your daily (or whenever) accomplishments here. Then we all can see and cheer each other on. I advise you to get an account at Tickerfactory (but not necessary) and use that to display your total accomplishments. I already provided some instructions on how to display it up above. Let me know if you still have any problems via a PM. The main thing is to have fun with this and beat any personal goals. Some of us have higher goals and some lower, but as long as you are doing your personal best, it really doesn't matter what you set. Good luck to all and Happy December!0 -

I'm in! I just started running this March and I've really gotten into it. The last few months I've managed to run over 100 miles each month but the holidays should keep me busy and the cold will be settling in soon so I doubt I'll be able to improve on that so I'll be happy to just do manage the 100 miles this month.
12/01/13 - 8.8 miles
12/02/13 - 5.2 miles

I'm in for 50 miles! I have 10k's planned for January, February and March and a half marathon in April. Looks like I might be running in the rain tonight!

Count me in for 90 miles! Training for The Gate River Run (9.3 miles) on March 15. Working on distance and speed now with Runkeeper sub 60, 10K. Will add hill training next month as this race includes the "Green Monster" - Hart Bridge.

12/3 - 5 miles
12/4 - Rest day
