I'm not there yet, just wanted to say well done!
  • I have lost 25 pounds so far and it took me a whole year, though I lost most of my weight at one time 5 in a month every few months then in December I kicked it up and lost 10. Trying to lose 25 more pounds in 5 or less months :)
Edit: I guess it only took me about 7 months to lose but 25 in all last year.

I lost 73 lbs. in 81/2 months. Losing weight was not the only benefit as I am now no longer on any medication.

I've lost 13lb (done a bit of losing and regaining!) over the past 6 months. I feel like I've put on a fair amount of muscle though. :)

I didn't buy a scale until I lost 4 pants sizes. According to my history I lost the first 40 in about 6 months.

Over all weight loss since 2004 is over 200 pounds. I never knew my highest weight because I never found a scale that went over 350. After I started losing weight for a few months I found a huge scale that went over 400 pounds. I weighed 395. Figuring out my average loss after that I guess my weight to be up to the 420 pound range. I dropped to 270 pounds and yoyo'd up and down between 270 and 335 for about 7 years. 2012 I was 335 and had enough. In 13 months I dropped 150 pounds to 185. I have slowly put back on 15 pounds but I have been working out. So right now I am at 200 but my clothes still fit the same as when I was 185. Right now I am working to get to 190.

I've lost 130 pounds in 17 months and still have more to go.

I feel sooo much better and my doctor has reduced the medicines I have to take and he believes the I could be medicine free and reverse my Type II Diabetes when I hit my goal weight.

MyFitnessPal is the best program I have ever found and trust me I have been on several programs that have failed.

I hope and pray everyone will find it, use it and have as much success or more than I have had.

I'm down 53 as of this morning, with about 60 to go. It's been 10months, during which time I had some "off the wagon" time - maintained for about 3 months, gained some, lost some more.

I lost 40ish Lbs over the course of 7-8 months. I've been maintaining for about 7 months. Keep in mind that as you lean out, you're not going to be able to go as fast...just the way it is.

I've lost 109 after over a year. I'm at goal weight, just have to stay there and start working weights more.

Nice job everyone! I lost about 80 in a little over a year. It took a couple of months to get into a groove then I was losing 10 lbs a month. Then it took about 3 months to get the last 15 lbs off. Been maintaining for almost one year and it's been relatively easy for me.

I don't have much to lose. I think this is my 3rd year here? I get to 160 and then I start tracking again to get back down to 145, then by Halloween I stop tracking and put the weight back on. im pretty good at losing it quickly. its hard at times to go to bed hungry but its worth it

Down about 27lbs in three months. :) And even better, hubby is now (sort of) dieting with me, per doctor's orders. Things will hopefully go even smoother now!
