    1) The Calorie Myth by Jonathan Bailor (It will blow your mind, I'm serious!)

I'm reading this too, and it is amazing, I've not quite to the part where he starts talking about what to do, just the part about establishing the science.

Have you been implementing these ideas yet?

    Cheers!

I'm reading this too although I think I already knew most of the content from listening to his smarter science of slim podcast. If you haven't checked that out then you really should. It will change your life!

I reset my ticker in January but last year I lost 20lb by educating myself through this podcast and eating loads more than I ever have. It's really easy to change habits when you understand the science behind it.

The podcast is much better than the book actually - as the interaction between him and co host Carrie Brown is really great. And her recipes on her website are great too.

    I'm never looking back xxx

The Laurel Heights series from Kate Perry is good if you like a bit of romance that isn't trashy. Story lines are good, love the characters, and they are a quick read.

Currently reading Takdownn Twenty- newest in the Stephanie Plum novels- Janet Evanovich is great.

When finished with that, I will read Divergent. ????

Edited to add: I read the entire series of Vampire Diaries last summer. LOVE THEM. And I got the impression Twilight was loosely fashioned after the Vampire Diaries :noway: I love both, but got way into the Vampire Diaries.

I'm a grad student so unfortunately I don't get to read casually as much as I'd like [or EVER], but I got The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling for Christmas, so that's what's sitting by my bed right now. Hopefully I'll get to read it soon!

Recently finish the 2 completed books in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy. Its fantastic. Book 3 out shortly and Book 1 is in movie production.

Currently reading the White Princess by Philipa Gregory. Liking it very much. I saw the White Queen Mini-serious so I read the 3 books, the White Queen, The Red Queen and the Queen Makers Daughter before that. Its all historical fiction.

Next up will be the Divergent Series.

I just finished "Glamorama" by Bret Easton Ellis and I'm a third of the way through "Fight Club" right now.
I keep picking up all these post-modern "man-lit" books that are all gritty and depressing... One day I'll read something fun again.

The Handmaid`s Tale by Margaret Atwood.

I loved that book. I read it when I was about 13 and it had a really strong impact on me.
