I don't go to a gym. I work out two hours a day at home. Including a five mile run four days a week, circuit training (Jillian Michaels DVDs) with weights as HEAVY as possible and HIIT workouts. You wouldn't be able to tell I'm not going to a gym every single day. Circuit training with heavy weights will bust your bootie into shape really fast.

Time for the crappy, obligatory cell phone in the bathroom pic.

But yeah, I've never gone to a gym. Ever.

sit-ups (feet on the wall back on the floor if they are too easy)
push ups (you got chinese, diamond, clapping, wide and narrow grip)
    flutterkicks and leg lifts
    squats
    lunges
    bicycles
    bear crawls and crab walks
    wall sits
holding your arms in a T form until you cannot stand it
    calf raises
    jumping jacks and jump rope

Often, we would do circuits of these, were you do sets of 10 down the list, and then repeat the list another 2 times.

Thanks for posting. A great place for me to start! :)

This thread, and this workout in particular, are fantastic! I finally found a gym I was comfortable in and did a free trial, but the hours they're open ended up being way too inconsistent for the drive (about twenty minutes away) and the cost, so I've been trying to find something well-rounded I can do at home without a lot of expensive equipment . . . no cost, no drive, wins.

I've never been to the gym except for a couple classes with a friend. I run 20-25 miles a week and do a few DVD's like Insanity or ChaLeAN Extreme. These pix are pre-ChaLean but you get the idea.ScreenShot2013-08-23at65606PM_zps6b86033b.png

I've never been to a gym as an adult.

    Lost 75 lbs

I run outside or on the treadmill if the weather sucks.
And strength train with bodyweight exercises and some DB's at home.

The body is all the resistance you need to get strong
