What to drink besides water?

I don't want to "drink my calories" especially since I only get 1200 per day. I need something else besides water to drink maybe once per day. I'm also trying to avoid artificial sweeteners. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Coffee. It's the only thing I can think of that doesn't have artificial sweeteners and has a relatively low amount of calories, even if you add creamer. I use the crystal light flavor packs in my water to give me different flavors, but it does have artificial sweeteners. Any reason you're trying to avoid them?0

You don't want to drink them....but then ask what you can drink, eh?
With only 1200 to consume I'd stick with water0 -
I drink coffee and sometimes tea0
-
1 cup of coffee, tea & iced tea0
-
coffee
tea
flavoured vitamin waters (not sure if they are sweetened or not but I buy them for my dad he was sick recently)
I drink my coffee black with no sugar and it is still 9 cals so i log it0 -
Coffee and Tea are daily for me as well.0

Tea! Jasmine white tea is divine, and jasmine green tea is pretty special, too. It's worth it to buy a diffuser and fresh, loose-leaf tea.0

Coffee and tea.0

I go with green tea! I love the starbucks iced green tea unsweetend. It has mint and lemongrass in it. So yum0

I like to add some lemon or lime juice to my water to give it extra flavor... Then there are also some no calorie syrups that you can use to add flavor to water...
Besides that I like herbal tea (without caffeine), decaf coffee and diet soda (only occasionally).
Edit:
I just read that you try to avoid artificial sweeteners. Then the no calorie flavor enhancers will not be the thing you are looking for.
My suggestion would be water + lemon / lime juice or herbal tea.0 -
More water.0

coffee.0

you could drink Tea (unsweetened) you could even juice a mixture of fruits and vegetables... but really why would you do that when you can drink WATER!!!!! Sorry this is coming from somone who LOVES water, but if you don't love it then put lemon slices in it put orange slices in it, put frozen raspberries in it... just drink the water.0

Coffee
Diet soda
Tea0 -
Rooibos tea
Sparkling water with a twist of citrus
Plain water with frozen fruit or veggie "ice" cubes0 -
What about soda water/seltzer?0

There are many brands of naturally flavored seltzer with no artificial sweeteners and 0 calories. It may take a little getting used to because it is not sweet. It has replaced soda in our house.0

I put a NUUNs tab in every other bottle or glass of water I drink. Gives it a slight flavor and replaces electrolytes. Of course I run alot so electrolytes are a bit more important for me. The Fruit Punch NUUNs are the ones I like, but they come in other flavors.0

Try Kombucha! IT is filled with probiotics for a healthy gut and very low calories. My favorite is GT's trilogy! Oh and is tea is great choice as well, if you want a little sweetness add some stevia! You can make a big batch and out in the fridge to cool if you prefer it cold. La croix has some great flavored soda waters too!0

I like adding fruits to my water. My favorite is apple/cinnamon. Slice a few apples and add in a cinnamon sitck or two to a pitcher of water. YUM!
I also like Orange/Lemon/Lime and mint mixture. Cucumber is refreshing, too.
Google fruit water recipes and you'll probably find a lot of different combos.
This adds a tad bit of flavor, not overwhelming, and doesn't add a lot of calories/sugar0 -
Any of the fruity teas - iced, then mixed with sparkling water. Light and refreshing!0

i enjoy the odd coke zero, green tea and of course lots of water. If i am feeling a bit peckish then a mug of miso seems to help.0

You could drink fruit infused waters. I am currently drinking water with cucumber, mint, and lemon, it's surprisingly refreshing! You could also do it with strawberries, watermelon, oranges, etc.0

Thanks for the replies! So I've been hearing lately how artificial sweeteners are bad for you...read The Skinny Rules and Bob says nothing artificial...which is a bit much I think, but didn't know about things like Crystal Lite, etc.0

Infused water. I get a large mason jar and add lemon slices and sliced strawberries. So delicious.0

Green tea is supposed to accelerate fat burning. I don't make my tea with piping hot water like most people do. I use 2/3 hot water and 1/3 tap water. There are many varieties of tea and it's really cheap if you make it yourself.0

Sticking with water, you can always add fruits and vegetables- Cucumber (peeled) and Lemon, Slices of Orange, Sliced Strawberries, fresh mint. . . pretty much anything you like. Also, herbal teas.
I stay away from anything artificial as much as possible. if it's artificial than its chemicals. . . . I just don't prefer that.0 -
Nothing new here. Coffee, tea, or soda water. Unsweetened almond milk doesn't pack too much of a caloric punch (personal preference; I think cow milk tastes icky-poo).
I know it works for some folks, but 1200 calories/day is really pretty low, and I say that as a towering 5'3" 38yo woman. If that's the way you want to go, knock yourself out, but it may be worth considering whether your goals are too aggressive.0 -
I always have 1 cup of coffee and 2 cups of green tea every day. I'm having 1200 kcals net at the moment either, even if I don't plan to go on like this for much longer, I need to lose 4 other kgs. Anyway when I want to I can always have a coke, just not that often. And I love milk and orange juices, just find the ones that don't have so many calories and put your cereals or biscuits in it, so that it's not calories wasted drinking!0
