I'm starting a month-long trial at a boot camp gym this week so hoping to kick it up a notch!! Currently I'm doing the C25K program on my treadmill and yoga twice a week so it will be a real test!

For Fun: What has been the most interesting part of the weather for you and how does it affect your ability to exercise? To answer this question, I live in Georgia and this last snow episode absolutely threw my weight loss under the bus! :sick: I just stayed inside and ate a lot with my husband, thus gaining weight rather than dropping it. It was beautiful, but now it's time to get back on track.

I absolutely love storms. Love 'em. They don't tend to mess up my exercise plans though, as we don't get them that often. I've yet to have snow since my new exercise regime so I don't know how that will mess me up!

I do walking since I'm a security officer and since that happens early morning it really cold, but it doesn't stop me..0 -
I think I can do this! I have been keeping track of my intake on MFP every day for two weeks and I started using an activity monitor over the past week. In total, I lose two and a half pounds. Okay, I have a total 25 pound weight loss goal, but this small weight loss did not feel like a struggle. I just focused on my MFP goals and be more active every day (I have yet to meet the 10,000 steps in a day goal, but I will make that a daily goal soon too.) So yes, sign me up.
Beginning weight Jan 20: 170lb
Current weight: 167.5
Goal weight: 145
Unlike the past, I am also committing to accepting myself as I am right now and enjoying things right now. I am not going to feel bad about myself because I am heavier than I want to be. I won't criticize myself when I look in the mirror and see my waist is not as slim as I would like it to be. The weight loss is not about making me a worthy person, but rather helping me to enjoy the health I deserve.
