    I'm starting a month-long trial at a boot camp gym this week so hoping to kick it up a notch!! Currently I'm doing the C25K program on my treadmill and yoga twice a week so it will be a real test!

    Ugh the weather lol. I do live in Texas but our mornings we have been getting down into the 20's so it does affect my morning walks (as I walk at 5am). But I have been staying busy with good old cadio DVD's :-)

    For Fun: What has been the most interesting part of the weather for you and how does it affect your ability to exercise? To answer this question, I live in Georgia and this last snow episode absolutely threw my weight loss under the bus! :sick: I just stayed inside and ate a lot with my husband, thus gaining weight rather than dropping it. It was beautiful, but now it's time to get back on track.

    I absolutely love storms. Love 'em. They don't tend to mess up my exercise plans though, as we don't get them that often. I've yet to have snow since my new exercise regime so I don't know how that will mess me up!

    So for the month of February I am hoping to lose more than 5lbs. I have to buy a wedding dress in March (wedding in October) and I want to be as small as I can before ordering a size :)

    I do walking since I'm a security officer and since that happens early morning it really cold, but it doesn't stop me..
  • I think I can do this! I have been keeping track of my intake on MFP every day for two weeks and I started using an activity monitor over the past week. In total, I lose two and a half pounds. Okay, I have a total 25 pound weight loss goal, but this small weight loss did not feel like a struggle. I just focused on my MFP goals and be more active every day (I have yet to meet the 10,000 steps in a day goal, but I will make that a daily goal soon too.) So yes, sign me up.
    Beginning weight Jan 20: 170lb

    Goal weight: 145
    Unlike the past, I am also committing to accepting myself as I am right now and enjoying things right now. I am not going to feel bad about myself because I am heavier than I want to be. I won't criticize myself when I look in the mirror and see my waist is not as slim as I would like it to be. The weight loss is not about making me a worthy person, but rather helping me to enjoy the health I deserve.

    For Fun: It has been super cold one day like -17 and then the next it will be like 30 degrees! I workout at home so it does effect me at all.
