Made this tonight, and thought it was quite good. Definitely gave me my chocolate fix. I Used Treetop applesauce so the cal on mine came to 128. I used 3 packets of Splenda, but I think I will use 4 next time. I also added a squirt of Rediwhip bringing total cal to about 140. Will make again for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe you didn`t cooked it in short lapses of 30 seconds, that happened to me at the beggining because i cooked it in lapses of around 1 minute

I just got finished eating my brownie and it was really good and was easy to make. I didn't know what to expect to be honest.

I used the first recipe with a little of my homemade chocolate sauce (I use it on ice cream) and I put sprinkles on top. I didn't think to take a picture.

I love making small one serving desserts so when I have a brownie craving I will definitely be making this again! :)

  • I just made the first version. It tasted indulgent and delicious!

I added 1/2 a teaspoon of coffee powder to enhance the chocolate flavour and a sprinkle of chocolate chips. I made it in a coffee mug and it stuck a little, possibly because of the chocolate chips. I ate it with some light whipped cream on top which melted into the delicious chocolate gooiness.

This will definitely be a regular dessert.

    Thanks OP. :flowerforyou:

Amazing! Really, it's addictive, i have to go every week to the supermarket to get some cocoa & Applesauce, lol.
I'll try it with coffee next time! <3

Now for the high protein recipe i used these ingredients:

30 grams Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
1 container (150grams) Dannon 80 calories 2x protein greek yogurt
1 scoop (7 grams) Dr. Frank whey protein powder
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tbsp Splenda

Whoa...I like, make Protein Pudding nearly every day with Greek Yogurt, Protein Powder, and Hershey's Special Dark cocoa but I have NEVER thought of adding baking powder and microwaving it...you are a genius, sir. I can't have more food things today, but I'll try it tomorrow.

    Carbs: 28
    Fat: 3
    Protein: 23
    Fiber: 12

Directions: Same as the other normal one

Note: A difference i've noticed between both recipes was that the high protein one has a more moist texture than the one made with applesauce, i don`t know why but the applesauce one is a bit more dense and chewy, the high protein one was more moist but both are very rich and flavorful and will satisfy those late night cravings!

Ok it's an old thread, but how in the world do you get those numbers when 5g of unsweetened cocoa powder is 15 calories alone? I mean, I'm sure it's delicious, but definitely not 165 calories. I'm guessing you got the cocoa grams wrong...
