This looks like a concoction of sugar free chemicals. I'll stick with fitting the real thing in my calorie goal.0

How does this work without flour?0

I just tried this. It all mixed fine, cooked fine, smelled good - but the taste was horrible. Even with more than 1T Splenda, it was bitter. Yuck! It tasted nothing like any brownie I've ever had and I ended up wasting quite a but of cocoa powder. How disappointing.0

Hey everybody!
Lately i've been trying and perfectioning this recipe of a microwavable brownie that's easy, low in calories and also another one a little bit higher in calories but higher in protein!
So, for the first recipe i used these ingredients (you can use only half of the recipe if you want)
30 grams HErshey's unsweetened cocoa powder
122 grams Natural applesauce
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp Splenda
Nutrition:
Calories: 122
Carbs: 34
Fat: 4
Protein: 3
Fiber: 14
Directions: Mix dry ingredients in a medium-large bowl so you have enough space to mix everything, add applesauce and mix until well combined.
Grease with spray a ramekin or microwave safe bowl (the one i use is 6 oz. capacity and it fits perfectly) and microwave on high in lapses of 40 seconds to 1 minute until the center is set (it takes like 4-5 minutes in my microwave).
Let cool in the ramekin then flip and it will easily come out, and that's it! a rich, satisfying and delicious brownie is ready to be served.
Wether if you wanna eat it alone or topped with some ice cream and other toppings like i do!
Now for the high protein recipe i used these ingredients:
30 grams Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
1 container (150grams) Dannon 80 calories 2x protein greek yogurt
1 scoop (7 grams) Dr. Frank whey protein powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp Splenda
Nutrition:
Calories: 165
Carbs: 28
Fat: 3
Protein: 23
Fiber: 12
Directions: Same as the other normal one
Note: A difference i've noticed between both recipes was that the high protein one has a more moist texture than the one made with applesauce, i don`t know why but the applesauce one is a bit more dense and chewy, the high protein one was more moist but both are very rich and flavorful and will satisfy those late night cravings!
Looks amazing!!0 -

Guys! I have recently tried some new way to make this brownie and it turned out amazing! you can try both ways anyway, i'll update the main post witht he other recipe! This one comes out super fudgy and delish0
-
Well, i don`t know why i cant update the main post but i'll post the recipe here, this one is more consistent, and more fudgy! You can make it with or without applesauce/pumpkin puree and have similar results and the recipe can easily be doubled.
30 grams (6tbsp) Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa
30 grams egg white
No Calorie Sweetener
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
3-4 TBSP water/no calorie soda
42 grams applesauce/pumpkin puree (optional)
1/4 tsp guar gum (optional)
Vanila extract
Pinch of salt and coffee granules
Mix dry, mix wet, mix everything togheter and cook in the microwave until done but not dry or you can bake it at 350 F for around 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and if you want it with a "molten center" bake it at 450 F for 12 minutes, let cool 5 minutes, unmold and.... EAT!
Less than 80 calories without applesauce/pumpkin puree and makes a very good sized brownie!
Note: This version is MUCH better than the original one0 -
I'm excited to try the new one. I loved the other two...made them just about every night for 3 weeks straight! Thanks!0

Sounds great will try0
