I too need a higher calorie breakfast or I feel hungry all day, I also workout quite a bit some days and need more. I am going to eat 1 large egg, 1 large egg white, .5 of 1/4 cup shredded cobly monterey jack cheese, and three slices canandian bacon on a whole wheat english muffin:) It totals between 300-400 cal. Thats a typical breakfast that I rotate with a cup of oatmeal and 1/2 c frozen berries. I liked reading what other people eat too. Have a great week!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!0

Breakfast burrito - 446 cals
1 egg
1/2 cup hash browns
1/4 refried beans
2 Tbsp hot green chile
1 oz cheddar cheese
2-3 Tbsp sour cream
1 flour tortilla
Oh, and 6 oz Sunflower Market 100% Juice Cranberry Juice (105 cals). Breakfast and lunch are usually my biggest meals and are generally 400-600 calories each.0 -
Rolled oats cooked with banana slices whipped in and almond milk. 250 calories
Topped with frozen strawberries, sugar free syrup, cinnamon, and a spoon of peanut butter. Around 150
So about 400 calories.0 -
mine was 230. i had almond milk, coffee, Shakeology and ice blended to a yummy coffee-GOOD-for-me breakfast to jump start my busy day. veggies, fruits, almonds and coffee all in one. yummmy!

Breakfast : Chocolat Protein Shake with 1/4 cup of oatmeal oats = 280 cal, 26 carbs, 2 fat, 42 protein.
Snack: 2 Market Day mini cheese omelets, 2 slices of Healthy LIfe bread (35 cal) = 170 cals, 18 cards, 5 fat, 19 protein0 -
1/2 cup dry oatmeal 110 cals, added 1 cup of Almond milk (60 cals) & sliced a small banana oh & I sprinkle a little splenda since the banana has sugar I really don't need to sweten it much.
Total 250 cals.

Thanks for all of the replies all, it's interesting to read and see how everyone is eating and why. I think this is especially important around the holidays, see where we can cut calories and still eat yumminess. I am excited to try oatmeal with peanut butter, that actually sounds really good. Is anyone interested in me making another thread for snacks, lunch and dinner? Or is there one out there like that already? Just let me know, I really am enjoying MFP!0

I ate 350 calories. try to eat at least 1/4 of your daily calories in the morning, to get you boosted. Also, try to eat any carbs during breakfast and lunch and avoid them for dinner. Eating more in the early parts of your day will keep you from making late night snack choices which are killer on your eating healthy diet.

I'm just wanting to see what else people have for breakfast and how the calories compare. I've never really cared to count calories before, but then again, I've never been able to lose weight before... and I am curious to see if this will actually work.0 -
