I pronate and have thin ankles. Asics work best for me.

Love my Vibrams but someone put me onto the Pure Project by Brooks and I bought a pair of Pure Flow 2's and Really Like Them!!! am also going to try the Pure Cadence they have more mid-foot support but having said that the majority of the time I am in 1 of my 5 pairs of Vibrams..... Best of Luck

For running and kick boxing I use Asics Kayano 19.
For weight lifting I wear my minimalistic Merrells. Same shoes I hike in actually :)

I just started running this year and I really like my Saucony Triumph 10s. I also have a pair of Oboz Mystic Lows I use for the trails or less-than-ideal conditions.

I wear Saucony Guide 6. I absolutely love them and when I hit 500 miles, I'll probably get another pair.

    What do you wear? :)
Saucony Progrid CS2 - unfortunately, they have now discontinued that line and upgraded to CS3, hopefully when it comes to renewing, I hope they will be okay.

Nike Lunarglide 4+s which probably need replacing by now, but until I see another pair like that so scandalously cheap, I think I'll either have to deal with it or hope that Santa is generous this year.

Asics GT2000, just got them and so far I don't love them as much as my old GT2130s. Hopefully once they are properly worn in I will find them as fabulous.

I have a slight obsession with runners and so I change them quite often. Currently I am in love with Inov8-180 and merrell sonic glove.

Brooks Vapor 10 for road running
Salomon XA Pro 3d Ultra GTX for trail running.

Went on treadmill for running shoes for gait analysis (would have to say the staff where I went really know their stuff and the qualifications are pretty impressive as well), didn't get gait analysis done for the trail shoes as the treadmill can't re-create the uneven terrain ofthe trails.

I tend to go back on the treadmill every 500miles just in case my gait has changed.
  • i use:
vibram 5 finger bikila's for tarmac (and the gym)
2 pairs of vibram 5 finger spyridon's for trail / cross country
