Dr. Oz's Detox Smoothie is YUM-O!

    1 cup water
    1 T Flax seed
    1 cup frozen rasberries
    1 banana
    1/4 cup spinach
    1 T Almond Butter
    2 teas lemon juice
    1 cup ice

I mix mine in the Magic Bullet. It is very satisfying and sweet too!
  • Cherry/Lime Green Smoothie:
2 cups spinach, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 key lime yogurt, 2 bananas, 2 cups cherries. :)

    Tropical Green Smoothie:
2 cups spinach, 2 cups coconut milk, 2 bananas, 1 cup pineapple, 1 cup mango.

You can really make anything with the 2 cups greens, 2 cups liquid, 3 cups fruit system!

Bonus tip: if you freeze at least a cup of the fruit you can avoid using any ice and keep it cool!
  • I swear by green smoothies. I always use spinach and kale and then add only fresh fruit that is in season. Sometimes I add a little juice as the base but usually use just water. My favorite right now is...

    Spinach...two to three handfuls
    Kale...one to two handfuls
    2 tablespoons Flaxseeds
    1 Pear
    1 Apple (your favorite kind)
    6 Red Seeded Globe Grapes
    1/4 cup apple juice
    1/2 cup water
    1 cup crushed ice

I use a Blendtec blender to make the smoothie...works great!

My go-to smoothie is very simple:

    1/2 cup frozen peach slices
    1/2 cup frozen cherries
    100g non-fat yogurt
    1/2 cup orange juice
    1/2 cup water

It's about 150 calories, and keeps me full until lunchtime! Plus it's a lovely bright pink color, and yummy!

    Very filling breakfast smoothie
1 cup frozen berries (like the first poster I get the 3lb bag of strawberries from Sams Club)
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    1/4 cup honey granola
1/3 cup Bolthouse farms carrot juice
    handful of blueberries
1/2 cup greek non fat yogurt (vanilla or mixed berry)
    1TBS ground flaxseed

Beet smoothie (not the best tasting but great for debloating and getting in some veggies!)
1 cup cooked beets (I used canned, no salt added)
2 oranges peeled (or you can use a pure not from concentrate orange juice)
    1/2 cup carrot juice
    1 cup raw spinach
1/2 cup unsweetened cold brewed green tea (I use Tazo)
    1TBS ground flaxseed

I freeze fresh fruit and use it through all year long.... using frozen fruit does not require ice cubes and makes creamier smoothie.
I also freeze my yogurt. Dannon Light and Fit yogurt and I use the empty yogurt cup to measure my fruit and almond milk.

    ORANGE BLISS
    6-8 frozen orange sections
    1 ring frozen pineapple
1 partially thawed orange bliss yogurt (6 oz)
    6oz almond milk

    STRAWBERRY:
    6oz frozen strawberries
    1 partially thawed strawberry yogurt
    6 oz almond milk

POACHED PEAR: (I make my own poached pears: core/ peel/ slice pears, add to simmering V8 infusion pomegranate blueberry juice with sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg ...to your taste... Steep til pears are infused with juice and are soft. This is good warm as dessert or over ice cream, but I freeze some and use in smoothie.)

    1c frozen poached pears
    1/2c spinach fresh
    6-8oz almond milk

    Hope you enjoy! :-)

    1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk
    few drops of Stevia
    1 scoop Whey protein powder
Huge handful of either spinach or baby power greens

Then for variety one or more of these - banana, 1 cup frozen berries, pineapple (with coconut oil & banana for pina colada), unsweetened cocoa powder, any other frozen fruit.

Sometimes if I'm craving ice cream I'll mix up almond milk, stevia, coconut oil and fruit. Very delicious.

    Love this one!

    3 oz firm Tofu
1/2 cup of liquid (any type of milk, almond milk, coconut milk, water, whatever)
    1 small banana
    1 1/2 T cocoa powder (unsweetened)
2 large tablespoons of plain greek yogurt
    3 T oats
    1 c frozen fruit (I like strawberries or blueberries)-Got a big bag at Sam's for cheap :)

It has like 20 g protein in it. You can't even taste the tofu, it just makes it very thick and creamy. You can really add whatever you want to it. My hubbs likes PB with no strawberries (ice instead).

    kale
    nonfat greek yogurt
    frozen banana
teaspoon XANTHAN GUM (secret ingredient 35 calories--must be blended in)
    ice
can add any other fruit, pb2, etc. to taste!

the xanthan gum is AMAZING--I just tried it yesterday first time and the smoothie was super creamy and still low-cal!
