I love spring and summer...some fall but winter drags me down. I love walking outside after work and on weekends, but the sun is already setting by the time I get home in winter time, and I don't walk by myself when it's dark outside. Give me sunshine and warm weather.

Winter usually makes me want to stay indoors, and I've always despised gyms... The rainy weather has simply forced me to get a gym membership. Fortunately, I've been using it almost every day and I'm learning to love the gym, especially since I'm seeing results!0 -

It was a rough, stressful week. I found myself stress eating on Monday, and I struggled all week to stay within my goals, so very satisfied with my progress, considering. Great week, everybody!0 -
SW (Dec.18,2013): 198 lbs.

GW (Feb.28,2014): 167 lbs.
Weight lost (so far): 23 lbs.
Overall GW (by June 15, 2014): 140 lbs
I was 177 lbs. on 01/31/14, so I've lost 2 lbs. so far in February.
I'm hoping to lose 10 lbs. total in February (8 lbs. left).
Valentine's Day is going to be tough on my sweet cravings (chocolate is my weakness).
I've been seeing a Nutritionist since before Christmas and he recommended this site to count calories.
I check in with him once a month (usually around the 15th) to record my weight lose progress.
He expects me to lose 8-10 lbs. in an average month, but I lost 13 lbs. in my first month (so it is possible).
He got my blood work back in January, and found out that I had "hypothyroidism."
He has given me a prescription for the thyroid, which helps to lose weight.0 -

I am struggling with knowing what my weight is because I got a new scale and I am getting different readings extremely 4-5lbs different in a day, and day to day. What is real? I think it is about doing the right thing and I did take measurements. I will watch the trend line show that I am losing weight. I have to lose weight if I am burning more than I eat. Gasp!0 -

My next mini goal is to be 255 by Valentine's day, keeping on track to make 80# lost by my 1 year MFP-iversary. We've been having a nice wintry cold spell here in SoCal. We're thinking about driving up to the mountains tomorrow to do some hiking, hoping to see some snow. Or maybe hitting the beach if it's warmer...
