I'm English so travelling round Europe is relatively easy! On your list I've been to France (more times than I can count), Greece, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain (although we drove into Spain from France for a couple of hours only!). I've also been to Belgium and Switzerland. Out of Europe I've been to the US and to Cuba.
I'd love to go to Australia, Canada, Mauritius, the Seychelles, Brazil, Iceland.....
I must add these places to my bucket list!!0 -
Spain
Germany
Netherlands
Bahamas0 -
I would love to visit the Holy Land.0

Visit.. Israel. Amsterdam0

I live in Ireland too and love what you said about the animal welfare situation!0

DH and I are fortunate to be able to afford to travel (and it's a high priority for us), so we've been just about everywhere on our bucket lists and are repeating favorite destinations. This year it's Alaska; next year will be Italy or Scotland.
What remains on my bucket list are Australia/NZ and returning to India, which I've visited a lot on business. DH and I don't do long hauls in Coach anymore so both are long, expensive trips and DH has no interest in India. I'm saving both for after I retire in 4 years, so I/we can stay long enough to enjoy it after the jet lag wears off.
I'd like to see more of S. America, too; have been only to Rio.0 -
For countries:
United Kingdom
Italy
France
Belgium
Denmark
Crete
Morocco
Greece
Iceland
Brazil
Turkey (when it's okay to do so)
Austria
Bora Bora
In the US:
Hawaii
San Diego
Washington D.C.
Colorado Springs (really liked it before would like to go again)
Chicago
New Orleans (really liked it the first time would love to go again)0 -
Go to Rome! No matter how long it takes, save your money and go! I went last year with my wife for our 15th anniversary and it was AMAZING!!!!!0

I live in Dublin, Ireland so somewhere that doesn't rain 9 months of the year on my list is :
USA, Hawaii, Africa, some parts of the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Poland.
I've no interest in places like China, Vietnam, Romania, Germany or any countries that eat cats, dogs or horse meat or any countries that have a low standard of animal welfare and human rights they wouldnt even get on my list.
You have to make a stand for what you believe in and for me that would be not giving my money to those said countries.
So come on the lotto !
I hate to disappoint you, but in the U.S. Dogs get killed all the time in pounds just for being there to long. That, for example, does not happen in Germany. So animal welfare is not the greatest here. SeaWorld is under fire for treating their Animals bad and the list goes on....and as much beef the Americans eat.... well....0 -
Oh, I would so do road trip in North America and Canada. Same for Australia too. And around Europe. :glasses:0
-
I'd go around the world visiting all the major hominin archaeological sites
So that would include:
Georgia (the country!!)
Many parts of Africa, the rift valley and South Africa in particular
Java
parts of China like Zoukoutien (spelling approximate)
Atapuerca, Spain
Gibraltar
Neanderthal, Germany (of course!)
Quite a few places in France, England and Wales (including where they found those footprints)
Flores island
and a bunch of other places.......................0 -
Fiji!! That is totally on my list. Also, I live in the US and have been to a lot of the states you don't normally get to (Alaska & Hawaii) but sadly haven't seen much of the rest of the country. I would love to do a cross country where time wasn't an issue and I could just see things and go places.0
