It's snowing again, I'm sick again, and all I wanted was a bowl of comfort food. So tonight I made spaghetti bolognese. It was exactly what I wanted.
Dinner with a friend -- she's vegan, I'm (obviously) not. We made polenta with miso and red wine mushrooms, roasted cauliflower with lemon zest and almonds, and a big tray of roasted misc veggies. And wine. A lot of wine.
And one of my favorites, a broccoli and potato hash with poached eggs and, of course, some ultra beautiful oranges.
Bolognese with Quorn and Garden peas is SUPER AWESOME and your friend could have it too! give it a shot0 -

I was kind of off the wagon for a week or so; now I'm trying to shed 10 (!) pounds of water weight. Ugh.
Egg muffins I made for the week. Eggs, tomatoes, scallions, Parmesan, thyme, white pepper. (Please excuse the scorchy pan.)
This was my lunch today -- a tuna Caesar salad wrap with avocado. I filled it a bit too much so it was more like a gigantic soft taco. Tasted awesome, though.0
