How about do anything except watch the commercials lunges, squats, run up and down the stairs.. anything.
The t.v. is usually on when I get to work, so I'm thinking I'll do a few different things during commercials just to push myself. I really do need to push myself to do more ab work.0 -
Princess, That is what I have been doing but it hasn't showed up on my news feed. I think I need to finish log at bottom of page before the actual date ends then go back and edit it... I am trying that tonite. to see.
In for sit- ups and push-ups ( too big up top for jumping..:laugh: ) will do stairs for at least 3 commercial breaks a day. :happy: MAEGreat job everyone keeping up with this! I didn't do great exercising this weekend..my eating was good, but I was lazy-no excuses-just didn't feel like it to be honest:yawn:
maeadair-when you log your food, you can put it on a 24 hour period...when you are on the food page, you can hit the arrow back to the previous day..so even though you are on an overnight schedule, you can get it all in on 24 hour period.0 -

do 10 jumping jacks and 10 pushups 3x throughout the day-for mae-skip the jumping:laugh:
do any type of workout-lunges, crunches, etc.. during at least one commercial break :drinker:
This just makes you get up and moving to get your blood flowing and the little extra calorie burn cant hurt either!:flowerforyou:0 -
Yes I had to. I have one month from today that I will be having foot surgery. I'm trying to drop at least 5 or 6lbs before that since I won't be able to do much cardio. Make sure you keep me up to date when it's time for January's challenge.Jackie-glad you came back! Welcome Sammi!

My weight on Dec 1 was 193
My weight on Dec 7 is 192.8
A small loss but it is in the right direction. My calorie goal is 1500 (to lose 1 pound a week) and I did average 1507 for the week but I only worked out twice. I know I really have to work out more.0 -
I officially weigh in tomorrow, I am hoping that I am not retaining water, I just ate lasagna, we are having a work party, and i am eating blts for dinner;)0

This month I've been eating badly almost everyday and havent been working out at all. Feeling so tired at the end of the day if I bring my son out and if the next day we are not going out, I'll end up lazing around at home (like tomorrow).0

Checking in at 164 for the end of the week. It was really cool because I weigh myself on the Wii Balance Board and this morning it asked me to predict what my weight is, and I guessed 164, and that's what I ended up weighing. It's such a good feeling to be able to start recognizing how much I'm weighing without all the denial/negative feelings.

Sorry haven't been on. Had a horrible week with child sick so could not get to gym. I made it to soccer but managed to mess my knee up. Ugh, only good news is I went to the doctor today and said I only badly bruised it. I thought I might have torn something. I tore my ACL and meniscus a couple of years ago and was having horrible flashbacks! Did not weigh this week.

Keep it going everyone--get back on track today if you are off it--...Margie-it is nice to be accomplishing goals other than the weight loss! nareiko-I use a schedule also, other wise I feel lost! I am hoping for another loss this week. I had a Christmas party on saturday and a 2nd bday party for my son on Sunday, got my period-....we will see-trying very hard! I did feel great at the Christmas party dresed up-and I went to the gym today and ran into a friend I haven't seen in over 12 years-he told me I look wonderful-now that felt great!

Is it too late to join? I would love to join the group, I have been struggling with doing exercise lately and I think the challenges will help me to get back on track. So here I go to do my jumping jacks and push ups, and during commercials, swats, lunges and situps.

Wouldn't mind doing a water challenge. Did one over the summer and I think it helped. I tend to not drink a lot of water as I do not like it. Maybe try for eight glasses a day?0
