Mine was excercising... I needed to do this immediately... I used to be so lazy!

I stopped drinking 4 XLG coffees with 4 cream and 2 sugar every day I think they worked out to very close to 2000 calories extra every single day.. Making many little easy changes was good for losing at least 60 lbs - BEFORE I added any additional exercise. Go for the low hanging fruit first!0

I cut WAY back on the sugary drinks. I used to drink, iced tea, juice and pop all the time, now it's a treat.0

I went cold turkey with the sodas.0

Tracked my food intake and stayed within my budget.0

1. Not drinking alcohol 2. getting in an hour of exercise at least 5-6 days a week 3. Substituting healthier options for things like French fries. 4. Taking it easy on pork products (realizing that bacon doesn't have to be put on everything I eat.) 5. Portion control0

Mine was actually LOGGING everything I ate everyday. It was an eye opener to see just how many calories are in fast food.0

Actually weighing and measuring.
Serving sizes (based on the info on the container) still surprise me, and not in a good way, sometimes. 28g isn't a whole lot of anything crunchy and salty.0 -

The same. Eating the calories for an active person while being a sedentary person = weight gain = time to get off my bum and become active again.0 -
Starting actually tracking my food intake to find that there were starving children in the world because of the quantities I was eating!0

The first thing I changed was my eating habits. Started tracking and slowly implement healthier options, after about 3 months of that I started to exercise.
You can not out exercise a bad diet.0 -
stopped eatingh a cheese steak sandwich & fries 5 days a week while working at a cheese steak shop0

Started logging and tracking my calories, committed to walking at least 20 minutes in a day and cut out the two pints of squash (non-alcoholic cordial) a day.
Tracking my macros and upping exercise came later.0 -
Ditto on the water. New Year's resolution was to drink tons of water and the side benefit was i cut out sugary drinks. Success with that led to logging food and paying attention to portions via MFP. I've only been on for 5 weeks and blasted through a weight loss plateau i'd been stuck on for months.0

I stopped drinking 7 cans of soda a day and switched to just water! And sometimes those flavor packets when I really want a soda! Goodbye extra 1000 calories!0

First I cut out fast food and soda, then cut out coffee and added water, then started exercising, then started tracking food calories and watching what I ate. Now I'm just trying to keep doing all of that0

1. Stopped drinking an XL Tim Hortons Double Double with a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast (every single day!)
2. Stopped eating after 7:30PM. It doesn’t matter what time you eat at, as long as you come in under your maitainence,. However! I had a bad habit of finishing dinner and standing in the pantry munching on a whole bunch of little things. By stopping eating after 7:30 I easily cut my daily calories by 500-800.0 -
Stopped replacing sleep with energy drinks. After getting over the initial nausea of no longer having them in my system, I was surprised by how much better I felt and how much less "squishy" my figure was :happy:0

1.) Abstinence from addiction... 2.) quit smoking.. 3.) Begin to overcome fears.. 4.) Change eating habits ( now intermittent fasting) 5. Proper sleep! 6. GET PUMPED 7. Exercise 8. Do a superset of #'s 3-7 until Failure. 9. Success !!!0
