Exactly. You need to wear that thing 24/7 just in case some fun breaks out.

ROFL, yep. Guess they'll just have to slide it on....

It may not be the BEST place, but it is definitely way the hell better than NOT having one. Those at college have their own box kept in a drawer. Those at home have a box in the kitchen drawer. Two condoms are kept in wallets so they are on hand at all times since you may never know when 'happy happy fun fun times' break out. All my kids have been taught to toss it if it hasn't been used in ages (expiration dates and wear/tear from being in a wallet) and replace regularly. Condoms = way cheaper than child support.

Sex doesn't just happen conveniently next to your nightstand. Or when you have a backpack handy. Or whatever. But most of us keep a wallet and/or purse on us at all times. So that's the best place. And the reason they keep 2? 1) if you're lucky, maybe you'll be lucky twice in one night, or 2) if one is damaged, hopefully the other isn't.

And all were taught that if they both are kaput, no glove, no love wins out over raging boners every time.

But she's taking the plan B so she doesn't reproduce. As long as she keeps popping those pills then you don't have much to worry about. So why are we telling her to stop taking it? Out of some kind of false concern for her hormones/future fertility? Concern for someone we think is an idiot unworthy of reproduction? Wouldn't permanent damage to her reproductive organs have the effect that you desire?

    I'm confused.

Yeah, jodatoad's comments confused me too. I am as concerned for her as I am the OP at this point.

    BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
So true. OP, please keep taking Plan B at least 4 times monthly until you develop some sort of cervical/uterine/ovarian cancer and can no longer reproduce. Please. As has been said already, more unplanned kids being paid for by welfare is the most stupid idea ever.

(You can call me an @sshole, I call myself a Darwinist :p )

Jam! Actually you should take it before and after you have sex everytime

And for your dude... Yes. Condoms suck, but get it on, get it in, and all will be well. If he's like me, he will last a lot longer that way becuase he won't feel much of anything.

Yeah, unlike OP, you sound sincere with this comment. That was the same experience my husband and I had when we used condoms in between kiddos.

Here's a thought: stop having sex. If you can't afford birth control, you can't afford to be pregnant either.

    THIS!!!

(my insurance covered Viagra but not birth control -- go figure)

No fair! My husband's insurance doesn't cover Viagra or Cialis. We have to hit the streets for a substitute. ($300 for Cialis! )

Heh. Old, southern, white male run company (now defunct) --- they were all about protecting the penis (unless it was a GAY penis) and not so much about the vag.

I take back my recommendation for tube tying and exchange it for a recommendation that the OP go ahead and get a hysterectomy.

    Because of comments like this:
Here's a question: If this NON-boyfriend is having unprotected sex with you, how many others is he doing this with? If I were you, I'd insist on a condom for reasons other than birth control. Actually, If I were you, I wouldn't be having sex with him at all.

Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat does!

Thank you for this most useless of comments.

    I second this.

This guy is a dirt bag. You can do better, OP. I'm sure there are lots of men that are willing to wear a condom so they can have meaningless sex with you. You don't have to rely on a dirt bag to get your rocks off.

Hell, a toy is better than a douche bag. SRS

at the moment, im uninsured and cant afford birth control and even before then, my doctors wouldnt put me on it because im so sensitive to hormones that everything would kill my libido or make me gain weight and my doctors didnt want me gaining weight when im already over weight.

I can't take any kind of hormonal birth control either. Condoms are cheap and available over the counter, and their effectiveness increases when used with a spermicidal lubricant, also available OTC. I can assure you after nearly 11 years of marriage spent using condoms that any guy who really cares about you and wants to be with you isn't going to complain.

You can also contact a local women's or family planning clinic to be seen by a doctor for free or for a small fee who can discuss other options. I'm not sure why on earth someone who is sensitive to hormones would repeatedly take a high dose of hormones when there are plenty of other options available, but if you enjoy feeling like utter rubbish from taking them, more power to you.

Well there are {things} in the black market that work for any sex organs. hehehe

What if you throw the baby in the pool? And it's lifting with 10 pound dumbbells. Or a ream of paper.

You can throw the baby in the pool, just not *out* with the bath water,

This sounds like the best method for you, OP.

Yes, because the first two methods are how I have an 11 year old.

I had the same problem with hormones on birth control. I got on a generic brand of ortho tricyclen lo and i haven't had any problems. plus it is $9 at walmart with or WITHOUT a prescription.

This is something that stuck with me in my Health class in high school: If you are having unprotected sex, boys are having sex with the last 5 guys she's been with; girls are having sex with the last 10 girls he's been with. That's a lot of unprotected germs for the sake of some lovin'.

As for the weight gain, you are working out too much and your muscles are retaining water. That and the entire month's worth of BC hormones you claim you can't take each time you have a Plan B.

My advice is to get your priorities straight, close your legs, buy some condoms, and find someone who isn't spreading germs all over the place--including you.

Condoms don't have hormones in them. Go buy a box. If you can afford a gym membership; you can afford condoms.

LOL those numbers literally make no sense. I get the message behind them and the importance of being protected but throwing out nonsense numbers isn't the way to educated people. Why 5 or 10????

I've practically doubled my commitment to the gym over the last two weeks including going to the gym twice a day every day this week... I do 4-6 classes of zumba a week so cardio is fine... the addition has been hirty minutes to an hour of weight training daily if not twice daily... but in the past week I've jumped up from 156 to 159. There's NO WAY i've eaten THAT many calories. I weight myself on the same scale, no food on my stomach... why am I gaining weight?!?!

The only theory I can even have is my hormones are out of sync because I've taken plan b 5 times in 3 months (three times in the last month alone) ... but weight gain isnt a listed side effect...

    is that what's causing this???

    Wait, WHAT?!?

    Okay, in...
