    This add on is amazing! I love it! I now have the ability to track my points and have MFP do my daily totals. My only question is: I wonder if this add on works on an Ipad 2? I would love to have it show up there too on my MFP app. Thanks for the tip. :)
  • Hello !

    I have a problem, I don't know if it's normal or not but i can't download the script ! There is an error "502 Bad Gateway".
    I'm really sad because this script would be so perfect to help me!

    Someone knows something ?
    Please !

    Question: I am doing ww and was wondering if there is a way to track pts on this mfp, and I found this thread so, - does this do that or does it just import your info from ww account here? I am wanting to cancel my ww account, but still track points.
    Thank you for the help.

    Thank you for this!!!! My friend and I were just about to join weight watchers together, but I remembered seeing this before. I got it to work on both Firefox and Chrome. See below if you want to use it on Chrome (just in case this has been lost in all of the posts), it wouldn't work otherwise. (I added it the first part on line 1 and the second part at the very end after the entire script.)
    For those experiencing this issue in Chrome, here is how to get it to work:
    Just add this to the top of the script file:
    (function () {

    and then this to the very bottom of the script:
    })();

    FYI- Here is the bug I filed with Tampermonkey: http://forum.tampermonkey.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=623&p=2518#p2518

    Do you find that you run out of points before calories/ vice versa or is about the same?

    1 WW point is approximately 35 to 45 calories - depending on how naughty or nice the food is (in WWs opinion).

    This is awesome ! I downloaded and added it to chrome via the drag and drop instructions with no problem. I updated the script as indicated so it calculates points plus. The numbers seem to match the weight watchers tracker exactly.

    Be sure to change your diary settings so the categories show up in the order listed and only those categories ( no extras)

    Thanks!

    I want this! I know this has been covered like a million times but could someone break it down for a dummy like myself? Thanks a bunch!!
  • I am new to this and I have installed the script and it is showing up properly but it is showing my wine as 0.5 points for two servings and I think it is 4 points for 5 ounces. I am doing the points plus plan and I may have overlooked the answer to this in the other posts. It is calculating half points as well and on one of my WW meals it says it was 5 points and this is showing 5.5??? Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks so much

    I am unable to change the "false" to "true" on the script page. How do you edit the page? I am using Mozilla Firefox. I have the points on my page now but I want the points plus.

    I've also been finding userscripts.org down the last few days I've been trying to get this script. Is there another way to get this script?

    Thanks in advance for any help!

    So according to http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/userscripts.org.html userscripts.org has been down (as of this writing) 3 days and 3 hours. I've desperately wanted to add this script and see how my calories work out with WW PointsPlus system. I lost almost 100 lbs on WW and due to the way they have you count APs (ActivityPoints), sat at a plateau for 9 months. Got really frustrated, lost my motivation and wound up putting back on about 40 lbs (which I've since taken back off). I wanted to get back to WW and be able to compare PointsPlus and calories (other than the AP issues, I think it's a great plan but plan on counting activity with calories only).

    But I'm off-track... I read through every post on this thread, installed the TamperMonkey extension for Chrome and kept searching for another possible way to find this script. I eventually found it here - http://forum.tampermonkey.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=623&p=2518#p2518 I was able to open the TamperMonkey extension, select to add a new script and copy the script displayed on the page I just listed and save it with the required edits suggested on that page and within this thread (to enable PointsPlus - the fruit still shows up with points listed even though I set it for PointsPlus, but I'm ok with that).

    Oh, and someone had asked about a good alternative for a WW app for the android. Back when my droid phones couldn't handle WW's huge application, I used to use WW Diary (made by canofsleep). It's a great little app.

    I'm no tech by any means, but hope this might help someone else.

    Thanks for tracking this down! I have also been trying to add the script but not having much luck in getting it to work with chrome and tampermonkey. What changes did you make to the script? This is the first time I've tried to install a script so not too familiar with them. Any help would be appreciated!

    With Chrome, go to the top right and click on the two little arrows next to the three horizontal lines, select TamperMonkey, then go to dashboard. You can create a new script there, where you'll copy/paste the script from http://forum.tampermonkey.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=623&p=2518#p2518 - make sure you make the additions that fixed the script. Next, search for "var pointsPlus" to easily find the first line and make sure the lines show this (the first enables you to use WW's PointsPlus system and the precision is so it doesn't give you fractions of points):

    var pointsPlus=true;
    var precisonWW=true;

    Once that's saved, make sure to go to the food - settings in MFP to only show Calories, Carbs, Fat, Fiber and Protein (and they need to show in that order). Once you have that done, it should work for you if you copied the initial script and added what had been missing when the person posted all the code. I think it was just missing a beginning parenthesis in the beginning and an end parenthesis at the end, scrolling down a bit on the page shows what exactly was missing.

    Hope that helps! :)
