I was at 193.8 this morning, and my goal was 194, so I guess that means I need to change it! I have this fear of jinxing myself for setting another goal for this month, but I'm going to shoot for 190.

I haven't heard from some this week...I hope everyone is still working at changing I am working really hard and hope to have a better number than last weeks -0.4! Will let you know on Thursday! If you could, please try to weigh in by Thursday this week-Friday is Christmas Eve so it will be a bit busy w/ cooking all day, if you don't-I will just post it come Sunday/Monday. I don't have any recent pictures of me, but I posted a couple below. The one of me in a gray t-shirt is from summer 09 when I was around my heaviest (probably over 200 lbs, but I'm not sure). The picture of me in the pink cheetah print tank top is from tonight (about five minutes ago lol).

I am really happy that I've been so successful now. When I started this reply it occurred to me that in the picture where I was wearing the gray t-shirt I was "trying" to lose weight. I had a friend at the time who was really pushing weight loss on me and another of our friends. And I just wasn't ready to start losing weight at that point because I was so in denial about my weight. I had myself convinced that I wasn't overweight (which now seems crazy). But this whole journey has taught me that it's not going to work unless you're really ready to commit, so I've been really pushing myself this time because I want it.
I'm sure your before and during pictures show some pretty impressive differences too. Maybe that should be a challenge: for people to at least look at before and during pictures to see the changes they've made. Not necessarily posting if they're not comfortable, but to at least look and get some motivation. I know the pictures really helped me see the differences.0 -
So, my scale finally budged in the right direction today. 210.6! I think this pause has been due to not getting enough water and enough sleep. I'm going to drink a ton of water and sleep in tomorrow and hopefully I will get the xmas present I really want and see atmost 210 in the morning

Weighing in at 226# down 2#s.. Now comes the really hard part....the holiday food. We need another storm on Tues. so I can get another good workout.:laugh: I will probably call a 'holiday' (HaHaHa) and just eat the good stuff but in moderation and get back to being good next week. And yes Jess is doing fantastic, what an inspiration (and Chris too).

So, I'm definately not going to make the adjusted 205, I haven't lost any weight in a week I'm really going to push it this week though, maybe there is still a glimmer of hope for the 207 mark

Margie, I'm sure you'll do great since you're always pushing yourself. Even if you don't hit 205, you're doing amazing!!
I haven't checked in lately because I was (up until the past week) only weighing in on Fridays. However, I've found myself wanting to weigh in every couple of days now, and it's a new and weird feeling. I'm still trying to figure out how to react to it. I'm seeing more of the fluctuations, which I think is good.
I'm mostly just happy that I made it through Christmas without going overboard and without wanting to go overboard. Eating is huge in my family and there's always a lot revolving around eating, so it was nice to prove to myself that I can still interact with my family without having to eat the whole time (or if I am eating, to choose healthier options).0
